Claims (3)
- 第1のステーションであって、
(a)第1のデータ信号を表すように変調された第1の搬送周波数で、第2のステーションに信号を送信するように構成された送信機、及び
(b)第2のデータ信号で変調された第2の搬送周波数で、前記第2のステーションから信号を受信し、かつ該第2のステーションから受信された該信号に基づいて前記第1のステーションと前記第2のステーションの間の搬送周波数オフセットの推定値を生成するように構成された受信機を備え、
前記送信機が、
前記搬送周波数オフセット推定値を所定の最小値と比較し、
前記搬送周波数オフセット推定値を該所定の最小値よりも大きい所定の最大値と比較し、
前記搬送周波数オフセット推定値が該所定の最小値を超えた場合のみ該第1の搬送周波数を調整するように構成され、
該搬送周波数オフセット推定値が該所定の最大値を超えない場合、該キャリア周波数オフセット推定値に基づいて該第1の搬送周波数が調整され、
該搬送周波数オフセット推定値が該所定の最大値を超える場合、該所定の最大値に基づいて該第1の搬送周波数が調整される第1のステーション。 - 前記第1のデータ信号が、前記搬送周波数オフセット推定値を表すデータ信号を含む請求項1記載の第1のステーション。
- 方法であって、第1のステーションおよび第2のステーションを備える通信システムにおいて、前記第1のステーションが、第1のデータ信号で変調された第1の搬送周波数で第2のステーションに信号を送信するように構成された送信機を有し、さらに第2のデータ信号で変調された第2の搬送周波数で前記第2のステーションから信号を受信するように構成された受信機を有するものであり、前記第1のステーションにおいて、
(a)前記受信機で、該第2のステーションからの受信信号に基づいて前記第1のステーションと前記第2のステーションの間の搬送周波数オフセットの推定値を生成するステップ、
(b)前記推定された搬送周波数オフセットを所定の最小値と比較するステップ、
(c)前記推定された搬送周波数オフセットを所定の最大値と比較するステップ、及び
(d)前記推定された搬送周波数オフセットが該所定の最小値を超えた場合のみ該第1の搬送周波数を調整するステップ
からなり、
該推定された搬送周波数オフセットが該所定の最大値を超えない場合、該推定されたキャリア周波数オフセットに基づいて該第1の搬送周波数が調整され、
該推定された搬送周波数オフセットが該所定の最大値を超える場合、該所定の最大値に基づいて該第1の搬送周波数が調整される方法。
