・壁がガラス製である場合、アルカリ金属のガラスからの拡散を防止するバリア層であり、上述の問題に対する第2の解決法を構成し、すなわち、溶融スズの浴により支持されるフロートガラスの帯上への熱CVDにより、マグネトロンスパッタリングなどの真空技術により、又はゾルゲル法などにより製造される、シリカ、及びオキシ炭化ケイ素又はオキシ窒化ケイ素などの誘導体、すなわちxが2より小さいSiOxからできている中間層であり、そして
・壁がプラスチック製である場合、この場合には必須である耐引掻層、すなわちプラズマ化学気相成長(PE−CVD)、電子線蒸着、マグネトロンスパッタリング、イオン化学気相成長(ion−enhanced CVD)、イオンビームCVDなどによるSiOCH(N)中間層である。
・当該層のメソ多孔性構造を構成する本質的に無機質の物質の少なくとも1種の前駆体及び少なくとも1種の有機構造剤(structuring agent)を含んでなる液体組成物の調製、
・有機構造剤周囲での前駆体の析出及び前駆体から得られる分子の成長、
・直径が0.5と100nmの間である、随意的にドープされた酸化チタンの基本微結晶又はナノ粒子の前記液体組成物への添加、
・塗布すべき表面への当該組成物の塗布、及び
・有機構造剤を除去し、酸化チタン微結晶をその完全性を本質的に維持しながらメソ多孔性構造に取り入れ、そしてそれらのいくつかがナノ粒子としてその中で凝集するのを可能にすること、
を含むゾルゲル法によりメソ多孔性構造として形成される。
・上述の照明装置向けのガラス又はプラスチックを基礎材料とする壁、及び
・トンネルの照明、公共の照明又は空港滑走路の照明、あるいは陸上、水上又は空中の輸送機関、特に自動車用のヘッドライド又はシグナルライトへの、そしてまた屋内照明への、上記照明装置の利用、
である。
1.約15cm2のコーティングで試験を実施した。
2.試料の重さを量り、基材の厚さ、光透過率TL及び曇り度Td(この2つは両方とも%で表す)を測定した。
3.パルミチン酸溶液(クロロホルム1リットルにつき8グラムの酸)を、垂直な基材上に、ガラス/スプレー距離20cmで、3〜4回連続に行き来させてスプレーすることにより被着させた。
4.被着したパルミチン酸のナノメートルで表す厚さを測定するため、パルミチン酸被着後の試料の重さを量った。
5.被着後の光透過率TL及び曇り度Tdを測定した。
6.約50W/m2の強度のUVAのもとでの照射時間の関数としての曇り度の変化を測定した。
7.曇り度が50%低下した時間をグラフから求めた(この時間をT1/2(消失)と呼ぶ)。そして、
8.コーティングの光触媒活性を、
v(nm/h)=(パルミチン酸厚さ(nm))/(2×T1/2(消失)(h))
のように定義されるパルミチン酸の消失速度v(nm/h)として求めた。

v=620nm/h
v/TiO2=18nm・h-1・μg-1・cm2
RL=9.7%
Td=0.3%
・汚染についての目視観察。
・面積5cm2の表面に被着したホコリの布での除去。これは汚れの状態を明らかにし、「イージークリーン」機能の評価を可能にした。
・2、3滴の脱イオン水をガラス表面に被着することによる親水性の評価。
・トンネルに入りそしてTiO2層をより効果的にするUVAが存在すること、及び
・中央領域よりも汚染の閉じ込めが少ないこと。
Claims (11)
- 光源及び前記光源が発する放射線の少なくとも一部分を通過させる壁を含んでなる照明装置であり、前記壁の2つの面の少なくとも片方の少なくとも一部分上に光触媒活性層がコーティングされている照明装置であって、当該照明装置は、最低照明条件下で前記層の光触媒活性が、有機の汚れを分解して、それを前記層に付着せずそれから容易に除去可能な粒子にし、及び/又は前記層に親水性を与えるのに十分高いものであり、前記壁は基本的にガラス製であり、前記壁のガラスは50×50mmの面積が少なくとも40の破片に割れるように強化されている照明装置を製造するための方法であって、前記光触媒活性層を、
・前記層のメソ多孔性構造を構成する本質的に無機質の物質の少なくとも1種の前駆体及び少なくとも1種の有機構造剤を含んでなる液体組成物の調製、
・有機構造剤周囲での前駆体の析出及び前駆体から得られる分子の成長、
・直径が0.5と100nmの間である随意的にドープされた酸化チタンの基本微結晶又はナノ粒子の前記液体組成物への添加、
・塗布すべき表面への当該組成物の塗布、及び
・有機構造剤を除去し、酸化チタン微結晶をその完全性を本質的に維持しながらメソ多孔性構造に取り入れ、そしてそれらのいくつかがナノ粒子としてその中で凝集するのを可能にすること、
を含むゾルゲル法により、メソ多孔性構造として形成し、当該方法は、ガラスの通常の強化を維持するように、250℃を超えない温度で実施されることを特徴とする照明装置の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の方法により得られた照明装置。
- 前記層がTiO2を含むこと、そしてその光触媒活性が、365nmを中心とする波長で50W/m2パワーの放射下で、曇り度測定により求められTiO2の量に対して表される、前記層上に付着したパルミチン酸の消失速度を少なくとも10nm・h-1・μg-1・cm2とすることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記壁のガラスが、50×50mmの面積が60を超える破片に割れるように強化されていることを特徴とする、請求項2又は3に記載の照明装置。
- 表面が前記光触媒活性層に向いている少なくとも一つの領域において、前記ガラスの壁のアルカリ金属酸化物及びアルカリ土類金属酸化物の全含量が15重量%を超えないとともに、酸化ナトリウム含量が10重量%を超えないことを特徴とする、請求項2から4までの1つに記載の照明装置。
- 特にケイ素を基礎材料とする、ガラスからのアルカリ金属の拡散を防ぐバリア層又は耐引掻層が、前記壁と前記光触媒活性層の間に挿入されていることを特徴とする、請求項2から5までの1つに記載の照明装置。
- 前記光触媒活性層が100と1000nmの間の厚さを持ち、1〜100μg/cm2、好ましくは2〜65μg/cm2のTiO2を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2から6までの1つに記載の照明装置。
- 前記光触媒活性層上に液体を噴霧する手段を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2から7までの1つに記載の照明装置。
- 前記壁が、少なくとも前記光源とは反対の面に、前記光触媒活性層をコーティングされていることを特徴とする、請求項2から8までの1つに記載の照明装置。
- 前記層が、特にTiO2粒子よりも小さい寸法の粒子形態の、Fe、Nb、Ta、Pt、Rh、Ag、Pd、Sn、Cd、W、Ce、Zr、Cu、Ru、Mo、Al、Bi、V、Co及び/又はNi、随意的にそれらの酸化物及び/又は塩をドープされ、それと完全に混合され又は混ぜ合わされているTiO2を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2から9までの1つに記載の照明装置。
- トンネルの照明、公共の照明又は空港滑走路の照明への、あるいは陸上、水上又は空中における輸送機関、特に自動車向けの、ヘッドライド又はシグナルライトへの、そしてまた屋内照明への、請求項2から10までの1つに記載の照明装置の利用。
