Description
St(A)+30 > St(B) > St(A)+5 (質量%) ・・・ (I)
[式中、St(A)はゴム成分(A)のスチレン含量であり、St(B)は共重合体(B)のスチレン含量である]を満たすことを特徴とする。
乾燥し、窒素置換した800mLの耐圧ガラス容器に、シクロヘキサン 300g、イソプレンモノマー 25g、スチレンモノマー 25g、2,2-ビス(2-テトラヒドロフリル)プロパン0.045mmolを加え、更にn-ブチルリチウム(n-BuLi)0.45mmolを加えた後、50℃で4時間重合反応を行った。重合系は、重合開始から終了まで、沈殿が全く見られず、均一且つ透明であった。また、重合転化率は、ほぼ100%であった。その後、重合反応溶液の一部をサンプリングして、イソプロピルアルコールを加えて固形物を得、固形物を常法に従って乾燥して、液状の共重合体(SIR-1)を得た。得られた共重合体のミクロ構造及び重量平均分子量を下記の方法で測定したところ、スチレン含量が50質量%で、イソプレン単位のビニル結合量が30%であり、重量平均分子量(Mw)が10×103であった。
共重合体のスチレン含量を1H-NMRスペクトの積分比から算出し、また、共重合体のイソプレン部分のビニル結合量を1H-NMRスペクトの積分比から算出した。
ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィー[GPC:東ソー製HLC−8020、カラム:東ソー製GMH−XL(2本直列)、検出器:示差屈折率計(RI)]で単分散ポリスチレンを基準として、各共重合体のポリスチレン換算の重量平均分子量(Mw)を求めた。
イソプレン及びスチレンの仕込み比及びn-ブチルリチウムの使用量を代える以外は、上記製造例1と同様にして液状の共重合体(SIR-2)を製造した。得られた共重合体の分析結果を表1に示す。
イソプレンの代わりにブタジエンを用い、該ブタジエンとスチレンとの仕込み比を80/20とし、更にn-ブチルリチウムの使用量を代える以外は、上記製造例1と同様にして液状の共重合体(SBR-3)を製造した。得られた共重合体の分析結果を表1に示す。
JIS K6301-1995に準拠して引張試験を行い、加硫したゴム組成物の引張り強さ(Tb)を測定し、表3においては比較例1の引張り強さを100として指数表示し、表4においては比較例2の引張り強さを100として指数表示した。指数値が大きい程、耐破壊性が良好であることを示す。
スタンレイロンドンタイプのポータブルスキッドテスターにて、湿潤路面を加硫ゴム試験片でこすって測定した際の抵抗値を測定し、表3においては比較例1を100として指数表示し、表4においては比較例2を100として指数表示した。指数値が大きい程、ウェットグリップ性が良好であることを示す。

Claims (9)
- ポリスチレン換算重量平均分子量が300×103〜3,000×103であるスチレン−ブタジエン共重合体ゴムを含むゴム成分(A)100質量部に対して、
少なくとも置換ブタジエン誘導体(a)と芳香族ビニル化合物(b)とを含む単量体を共重合して得られ、ポリスチレン換算重量平均分子量が3×103〜90×103である共重合体(B)5〜100質量部を配合してなるゴム組成物であって、
前記置換ブタジエン誘導体(a)がイソプレン、1,3-ペンタジエン、2,3-ジメチルブタジエン、及び1,3-ヘキサジエンから選択され、
前記芳香族ビニル化合物(b)がスチレンであり、
前記ゴム成分(A)のスチレン含量St(A)と前記共重合体(B)のスチレン含量St(B)とが、下記式(I):
St(A)+30 > St(B) > St(A)+5 (質量%) ・・・ (I)
[式中、St(A)はゴム成分(A)のスチレン含量であり、St(B)は共重合体(B)のスチレン含量である]を満たすことを特徴とするゴム組成物。 - 前記ゴム成分(A)が前記スチレン−ブタジエン共重合体ゴムとその他の共役ジエン系ゴムとのブレンドであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゴム組成物。
- 前記スチレン−ブタジエン共重合体ゴムのスチレン含量が20〜55質量%であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゴム組成物。
- 前記置換ブタジエン誘導体(a)がイソプレンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゴム組成物。
- 前記共重合体(B)がイソプレンとスチレンと1,3-ブタジエンとの三元共重合体であることを特徴とする請求項1又は4に記載のゴム組成物。
- 前記共重合体(B)のスチレン含量が前記ゴム成分(A)のスチレン含量St(A)+5質量%より多く且つ75質量%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1又は5に記載のゴム組成物。
- 更に充填剤を配合してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゴム組成物。
- 更に架橋剤を配合してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゴム組成物。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のゴム組成物をトレッドに用いたことを特徴とするタイヤ。
