Claims (11)
- 内燃機関の吸入空気通路内に位置するケースと、
ケース内に配置されてかつ前記吸入空気の空気流の方向に対して角度を付けて端部においてケースの壁に固定された複数の一次ベーンと、
ケース内に配置されてかつ前記吸入空気の空気流の方向に対して角度を付けて端部においてケースの壁に固定された複数の二次ベーンとを有してなり、
該複数の二次ベーンが複数の一次ベーンに側方隣接して配置され、かつケースの長手方向に対して中央に配置されており、前記複数の二次ベーンは、前記複数の一次ベーンよりも半径方向の幅が小さく、前記複数の一次ベーンよりも長手方向の長さが短いことを特徴とする内燃機関の吸入空気旋回装置。 - 複数の一次ベーンと二次ベーンとが平面状であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 複数の一次ベーンがひと組の一次ベーン対を有しており、該ベーン対のそれぞれがケースの中央領域で連結されており、これによりケースがケースを通る空気流を高めるべく開口した中央領域を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- さらにひと組の連結体が該ひと組の一次ベーン対を内側の側端部分において連結し、該連結体は横方向に湾曲し長手方向に真っ直ぐであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- 各ベーンが下端部分を有しており、該下端部分がケースの中央に向かってケース内の空気流の方向に湾曲していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- ベーンの下端と上端とがケースに入る空気流の方向についてかつケースに入る空気流の有利点から時計方向に軸ずれする、ごとく各ベーン配列されており、これにより各ベーンが角度付き配置になっていて、ケースを通る空気流に時計回り回転運動を与えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 複数のベーンが主部分と主部分に対して水平に角度付きでありかつケースに入る空気流の有利点から時計方向にある下端部分を有していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- ケースが円筒状であってその長手方向端部と側部において開口しており、側部はその全長に亙って開口していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 各二次ベーンが各二次ベーンの上縁およびケースを通過する空気流の方向線を含む面に対して角度付きであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 各二次ベーンが一次ベーンより実質的に狭幅でかつケースより実質的に短く、
二次ベーンが一次ベーンの間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。 - ケースが第1の組の孔と第2の組の孔とを有しており、一次ベーンが第1の組のタブを有しており、二次ベーンが第2の組のタブを有しており、一次ベーンと二次ベーンのケースへの固定のために、第1の組の孔が第1の組のタブを収受し第2の組の孔が第2の組のタブを収受することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
