Claims (12)
- 各々がアドレスと既知の地理的位置とを有する複数の受信者に、メッセージをジオキャストする方法であって、
前記複数の受信者の位置とアドレスとを地理空間データベースに報告することと、
地理的領域を、前記地理的領域内の建造物を参照することにより指定することと、
報告された受信者の位置を前記建造物を基準にして比較するための前記地理空間データベースを用いることにより前記地理的領域内に位置付けられる受信者のアドレスを決定することと、
前記地理的領域内に位置するそれぞれの受信者のアドレスを前記メッセージの対象とすることと、
配信方法を指定することと、
前記指定された配信方法にしたがって前記メッセージを送信することと、
さらに、イベントが起こったかどうかを判断し、もし前記イベントが起こっていれば、前記イベントに応じて作成されるメッセージを送信することをさらに含み、
前記イベントは、境界をこえて報告された位置をさらに含み、前記メッセージは境界をこえる警告である、メッセージをジオキャストする方法。 - 前記受信者の少なくとも1人は、前記地理的領域に対して移動する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記メッセージを送信することは、前記メッセージを連続的にユニキャストすることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記メッセージを送信することは、応答をリクエストすることをさらに含み、それにより前記メッセージを受信しない受信者が識別できる、請求項3に記載の方法。

イベントが起こったかどうかを判断し、前記イベントが起こっている場合に、前記送信機に前記メッセージと前記地理的目的地識別子とを送信するためのプロセッサをさらに備え、前記イベントは、境界をこえる報告された位置をさらに備え、前記境界は前記受信機の位置の限界を規定し、前記メッセージは境界をこえる警告であり、前記地理的目的地識別子は前記境界をこえて指定する、遠隔通信システム。 - OSIアプリケーションレイヤで作動する送信機をさらに含む、請求項6に記載の遠隔通信システム。
- 前記メッセージを一連のユニキャストメッセージとして、前記識別された受信機に送信する送信機をさらに備える、請求項6に記載の遠隔通信システム。
- 応答リクエストを含むメッセージをさらに備え、前記受信機のうち前記応答リクエストに応答しないいずれか一つの受信機が識別される、請求項6に記載の遠隔通信システム。
- 前記メッセージは商用情報をさらに含む、請求項6に記載の遠隔通信システム。
- 前記地理的目的地における前記受信機のアドレスを識別するための前記地理空間データベースにアクセスし、前記ネットワーク内で機能する情報エージェントをさらに備える、請求項6に記載の遠隔通信システム。
- ネットワークと、
前記ネットワークに接続された送信機と、
地理空間データベースを含み、前記送信機と通信するメモリと、
少なくとも1台の移動受信機を含む複数の受信機とを備え、前記複数の受信機の各々は、アドレスおよび位置を含み、前記アドレスおよび前記位置を前記地理空間データベースに報告し、送信機を備え、前記送信機は、OSIアプリケーションレベルで作動し、メッセージと前記メッセージの地理的目的地を指定する地理的目的地識別子とを受信し、前記地理空間データベースにアクセスし、前記地理的目的地における前記受信機のアドレスを識別し、
報告されたアドレスにおける前記識別された受信機を前記メッセージの対象とし、一連のユニキャストメッセージとして、前記識別された受信機にメッセージを送信し、
さらに、イベントが起こったかどうかを判断し、前記イベントが起こっている場合に、前記送信機に前記メッセージと前記地理的目的地識別子とを送信するためのプロセッサをさらに備え、前記イベントは、境界をこえる報告された位置をさらに含み、前記境界は前記受信機の位置の限界を規定し、前記メッセージは境界をこえる警告であり、前記地理的目的地識別子は前記境界をこえて指定する、遠隔通信システム。
