Claims (2)
- 複数のシンチレータ素子をそれらの間に光反射膜を介して積層するとともに、積層したシンチレータ素子及び光反射膜においてその積層方向の一端側に入射面を設け、該入射面から、前記シンチレータ素子に含まれる 127 Iである原子核と反応して原子核反跳と励起状態の前記原子核から放出されるγ線とを生じる素粒子を入射させるようにしてあり、また、前記各シンチレータ素子の積層方向の厚みは、一の素粒子が入射し原子核反跳を内部で生じさせたシンチレータ素子のみならず該シンチレータ素子に隣接するシンチレータ素子によっても、前記一の素粒子により生ずるγ線を検出しうる程度に薄くされ、各シンチレータ素子において得られる前記原子核反跳及び前記γ線による光を当該シンチレータ素子における端部断面部から取り出すように、当該シンチレータ素子の周囲に各シンチレータ素子に対応するように設けられた光導出部が配置されていることを特徴とするシンチレーション検出器。
- 前記各シンチレータ素子の積層方向の厚みは0.3〜0.5mmである請求項1に記載のシンチレーション検出器。
