Claims (6)
- 1以上の蛍光体変換白色発光ダイオード(LED)、及び、1以上の非蛍光体変換カラーLEDを含む光源と、
前記光源を駆動して白色光を出力させ、前記光源から出力される前記白色光を検出し、前記光の検出に応答して、前記光源から出力される前記白色光を調整するように構成されたスペクトル・フィードバック制御システム
を具備し、
前記LEDのグループの各々に、前記蛍光体変換白色LEDの少なくとも1つと前記非蛍光体変換カラーLEDの少なくとも1つとの組み合わせが含まれ、前記スペクトル・フィードバック制御システムは、同じグループに含まれる蛍光体変換白色LEDと非蛍光体変換カラーLEDとを共通に駆動するためのグループ固有駆動信号をグループ毎に独立して生成する、照明装置。 - 前記1以上の蛍光体変換白色LEDに、白色光またはオフホワイト光を放出するLEDが含まれる、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記1以上の非蛍光体変換カラーLEDに、赤色、緑色、青色、シアン、及び、琥珀色光の1つを放出するLEDが含まれる、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記スペクトル・フィードバック制御システムは、前記検出した白色光を構成する各色の特性を表すフィードバック信号であって、前記グループ毎にLEDを制御するために用いられるフィードバック信号を送り出すように構成されたカラー・センサをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記スペクトル・フィードバック制御システムは、
前記検出した白色光を構成する各色の特性を表すフィードバック信号を送り出すように構成されたカラー・センサと、
前記フィードバック信号に応答して、前記グループ毎にグループ固有制御信号を発生するように構成されたコントローラと、
前記グループ固有制御信号に応答して、前記グループ毎に前記グループ固有駆動信号を発生するように構成されたドライバ
を備える、請求項1に記載の照明装置。 - 照明装置を動作させるための方法であって、
1以上の蛍光体変換白色発光ダイオード(LED)と1以上の非蛍光体変換カラーLEDを含む光源に駆動信号を加えて、白色光を発生するステップと、
前記駆動信号に応答して発生する前記白色光を検出するステップと、
前記検出光に応答して、フィードバック信号を発生するステップと、
前記フィ−ドバック信号に応答して、前記光源に加えられる前記駆動信号をLEDのグループ毎に調整するステップ
を含み、
前記LEDのグループの各々に、前記蛍光体変換白色LEDの少なくとも1つと前記非蛍光体変換カラーLEDの少なくとも1つとの組み合わせが含まれ、前記調整するステップは、同じグループに含まれる蛍光体変換白色LEDと非蛍光体変換カラーLEDとを共通に駆動するためのグループ固有駆動信号をグループ毎に独立して生成するステップを含むことからなる、方法
