Description
本発明は、重合体(A)及びリチウムシリケート(B)を含んでなる水性被覆組成物であり、これらが水に溶解又は分散したものである。
攪拌機、窒素導入管、温度計、乾留冷却器を備えた3リットル反応器に窒素を導入しつつ、脱気したイオン交換水800部、ネオペレックスF−25(花王社製の固形分25重量%のアニオン乳化剤)40部、レオノールTD−200(ライオン社製固形分100重量%のノニオン乳化剤)15部を仕込み、攪拌を開始し、80℃まで昇温した。過硫酸ナトリウム1部を仕込み、反応温度を78〜82℃に保ちつつ、別途調整した脱気したイオン交換水250部、ニューコール707SF(日本乳化剤社製の固形分30重量%のアニオン乳化剤)33部、シクロヘキシルメタクレレート(以後CHMAと略す。)250部、n−ブチルメタクリレート(以後n−BMAと略す。)200部、n−ブチルアクリレート(以後n−BAと略す。)400部、メチルメタクリレート(以後MMAと略す。)120部、メタクリル酸(以後MAAと略す。)10部、トリメトキシビニルシラン(以後TMeoVSiと略す。)15部、IPS(JSR社製のイソプレンスルフォン酸ナトリウムの25重量%水溶液)20部とを攪拌乳化せしめた単量体乳化プレミックスを3時間かけて滴下せしめた。同温度に保持しつつ過硫酸カリウム1部を加え更に同温度で4時間保持し室温まで冷却した。25重量%アンモニア水を用いてpHを6.5に調整し、イオン交換水を加え固形分を45重量%に調整した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A−1)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度5℃であった。
上記と同様の反応装置に窒素導入下、イオン交換水800部、ネオペレックスF−25(前出のアニオン乳化剤、固形分25重量%)40部、ノイゲンET−102(第一工業製薬社製の固形分100重量%のノニオン乳化剤)10部を仕込み、攪拌を開始し、80℃まで昇温した。過硫酸ナトリウム1.5部を仕込み、反応温度を78〜82℃に保ちつつ、別途調整した脱気したイオン交換水250部に、ニューコール707SF(日本乳化剤社製の固形分30重量%のアニオン乳化剤)33部、エマルゲンA−500(花王社製の固形分100重量%のノニオン乳化剤)10部とを溶解し、そこにCHMA250部、n−BMA50部、n−BA450部、MMA100部、スチレン(以後Stと略す。)100部、MAA17部、トリエトキシビニルシラン(以後TEtoVSiと略す。)25部、スピノマーNaSS(東ソー社製のスチレンスルフォン酸ナトリウムの固形分80重量%品)5部と、SVS(米国UCC社製のビニルスルフォン酸ナトリウムの25重量%溶液)16部を攪拌乳化せしめた単量体乳化プレミックスを3時間かけて滴下せしめた。同温度に保持しつつ過硫酸カリウム1部を加え更に同温度で4時間保持し室温まで冷却した。25重量%アンモニア水を用いてpHを6.5に調整し、イオン交換水を加え固形分を45重量%に調整した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A−2)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度15℃であった。
前記した本発明で使用する重合体の調製例1と同様の反応装置を用い、用いる単量体混合物の組成を、n−BMA200部、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート(以後2−EHAと略す。)140部、n−BA190部、St410部、MAA25部、TEtoVSi28部、γ−メタクリロイルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン(以後A−174と略す。)2部、スピノマーNaSS(前出の80重量%のスチレンスルフォン酸ナトリウム)6.3部に換えた以外、同様の操作を繰り返した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A−3)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度20℃であった。
前記した本発明で使用する重合体の調製例1と同様の反応装置を用い、用いる単量体混合物の組成を、CHMA250部、n−BMA200部、n−BA400部、MMA125部、MAA10部、TMeoVSi15部とした以外、同様の操作を繰り返した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A’−1)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度5℃であった。
前記した本発明で使用する重合体の調製例1と同様の反応装置を用い、用いる単量体混合物の組成を、CHMA250部、n−BMA200部、n−BA400部、MMA135部、MAA10部、IPS(前出のイソプレンスルフォン酸ナトリウムの25重量%水溶液)20部以外、同様の操作を繰り返した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A’−2)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度5℃であった。
前記した本発明に係わる重合体の調整例1と同様の反応装置、重合手法を用い、用いる単量体混合物の組成を、CHMA250部、n−BMA200部、n−BA400部、MMA140部、MAA10部とした以外、同様の操作を繰り返した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A’−3)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度5℃であった。
前記した本発明で使用する重合体の調製例2と同様の反応装置、重合手法を用い、用いる単量体混合物の組成を2−EHA275部、n−BA190部、MMA490部、MAA12部、TEtoVSi25部、スピノマーNaSS(東ソー社製のスチレンスルフォン酸ナトリウムの固形分80重量%品)5部と、SVS(米国UCC社製のビニルスルフォン酸ナトリウムの25重量%溶液)16部とした以外同様の操作を繰り返した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A’−4)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度10℃であった。
前記した本発明で使用する重合体の調製例2と同様の反応装置、重合手法を用い、用いる単量体混合物の組成を2−EHA190部、n−BA200部、MMA365部、MAA12部、n−BMA200部、TEtoVSi25部、スピノマーNaSS(東ソー社製のスチレンスルフォン酸ナトリウムの固形分80重量%品)5部と、SVS(米国UCC社製のビニルスルフォン酸ナトリウムの25重量%溶液)16部とした以外同様の操作を繰り返した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A’−5)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度10℃であった。
前記した本発明で使用する重合体の調製例2と同様の反応装置、重合手法を用い、用いる単量体混合物の組成をSt107部、n−BA427部、MMA260部、MAA10部、n−BMA175部、TMeoVSi15部、アクリルアミド(AM)6部とした以外同様の操作を繰り返した。得られた重合体の水分散液(A’−6)は固形分45重量%、pH6.5、最低造膜温度10℃であった。
表2,表3に上段から記載されている順番に、水に前記した重合体の水分散液、リチウムシリケート、その他の珪酸塩、親水性溶剤、琥珀酸塩などを攪拌しながら添加し、水性被覆組成物を調製した。

*6 ネオコールYSK :第一工業製薬(株)製スルフォン化ジアルキル琥珀酸塩(固形分70重量%)

基材C:珪酸カルシウム板(比重0.92)
基材D:ALC板(比重0.67)
基材E:歩道用平板
○ :20〜24個、基材表面に残っている状態

XX :完全に剥離してしまっている状態
*8 上塗りB :重合体(A)−3 100重量部にテキサノール4重量部を加え、よく攪拌した後にディスパーズカラーHG−633(大日本インキ化学工業(株)製着色顔料)3重量部配合したもの。

△ :塗膜のフクレが観察される。

Claims (4)
- 20℃での水に対する溶解度が0.3重量%以下の疎水性不飽和単量体を70重量%以上、一分子内に重合性不飽和基とアルコキシシリル基とを有する重合性アルコキシシランを0.1〜8重量%、及び、一分子内に重合性不飽和基とスルフォニル基とを有する重合性スルフォン酸及び/又はその塩を0.1〜1重量%の範囲で含んでなる単量体混合物を乳化重合して得られる重合体(A)、及び、リチウムシリケート(B)を含んでなり、重合体(A)とリチウムシリケート(B)との固形分の重量割合が60〜98:40〜2の範囲であることを特徴とする水性被覆組成物。
- 20℃での水に対する溶解度が20重量%以上で、且つ常圧における沸点が130〜240℃の親水性溶剤を、前記重合体(A)及びリチウムシリケート(B)の固形分の合計量100重量部に対し2〜20重量部含んでなる請求項1記載の水性被覆組成物。
- 前記重合性アルコキシシランが、一分子内にジメトキシモノアルキルシリル基、ジエトキシモノアルキルシリル基、トリメトキシシリル基及びトリエトキシシリル基からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一種の官能基と、重合性不飽和基とを有する請求項1又は2に記載の水性被覆組成物。
- 炭素数3〜12のアルキル基を有するスルフォン化ジアルキル琥珀酸塩、炭素数3〜12のアルケニル基を有するスルフォン化ジアルケニル琥珀酸塩、及び、炭素数3〜12のアルキル基及びアルケニル基を有するスルフォン化アルキルアルケニル琥珀酸塩からなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種を、前記重合体(A)及びリチウムシリケート(B)の固形分の合計量に対し、0.1〜2重量%含んでなる請求項1〜3いずれかに記載の水性被覆組成物。
