Claims (3)
- NOx吸蔵還元触媒が担持された担体の上流側で放電を行う第1の放電装置と、
前記担体の内部で放電を行う第2の放電装置と、
前記第1および第2の放電装置を制御する制御手段と、を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒による吸蔵時に前記第1の放電装置を動作させ、前記NOx吸蔵還元触媒による還元時に前記第2の放電装置を動作させることを特徴とする排ガス浄化装置。 - 請求項1に記載の排ガス浄化装置であって、
前記担体は排ガスが中を通る多数のセルを含み、
前記第2の放電装置は、放電電極と受電極とを含み、
前記放電電極および前記受電極は、前記セルを挟んで排ガスの流れ方向の前後に配置されていることを特徴とする排ガス浄化装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の排ガス浄化装置であって、
前記担体に還元剤を供給する還元剤供給手段を更に備え、
前記制御手段は、前記還元剤が前記還元剤供給手段による供給点から前記担体に到達するまでの所要時間に関連するパラメータに基づいて、前記第2の放電装置を制御することを特徴とする排ガス浄化装置。
