Description
可変吸気バルブシャフト3の回動された量を測定できるように設けられたポテンショメータ5と、
可変吸気バルブシャフト3を回動させるように設けられた空圧アクチュエータ7と、
空圧アクチュエータ7の作動圧を提供するためにサージタンク11と空圧アクチュエータ7とを連結する負圧ホース9と、
負圧ホース9が連結されたサージタンク11近辺に設けられたMAPセンサ(Manifold Absolute Pressure sensor)13と、
スロットルボディ15に設けられたTPS(Throttle Position Sensor)17と、
ポテンショメータ5とMAPセンサ13及びTPS17の信号を受けて可変吸気バルブシャフト3の作動状態を把握するコントローラ19とを含んで構成されている。
コントローラ19は、エンジンの運転状態を把握することができるエンジンECUを利用することが好ましい。
例えば、空圧アクチュエータ7に連結された負圧ホース9が外れて、コントローラ19が可変吸気バルブシャフト3を回転させる信号をソレノイドバルブ25に送信しても、可変吸気バルブシャフト3を回転させられない故障状態になれば、コントローラ19はTPS17とポテンショメータ5と、MAPセンサ13の信号から上記のような故障状態を検出することができる。

Claims (3)
- 複数のフラップが設けられた可変吸気バルブシャフトと;
前記可変吸気バルブシャフトの回転した量を測定できるように設けられたポテンショメータと;
前記可変吸気バルブシャフトを回転させるように設けられた空圧アクチュエータと;
前記空圧アクチュエータの作動圧を提供するためにサージタンクと空圧アクチュエータとを連結する負圧ホースと;
前記負圧ホースが連結されたサージタンクの近辺に設けられたMAPセンサと;
スロットルボディに設けられたTPSと;
前記ポテンショメータとMAPセンサ及びTPSの信号を受けて前記可変吸気バルブシャフトの作動状態を把握するコントローラと;
を含んで構成されたことを特徴とする可変吸気システムのモニタリング装置。 - 前記ポテンショメータは、前記TPSと同一の種類のセンサであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の可変吸気システムのモニタリング装置。
- 前記ポテンショメータにはセンシング側の先端にライン型突起が備えられ;
前記可変吸気バルブシャフトの先端には前記ライン型突起に嵌め込まれるライン型溝が備えられたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の可変吸気システムのモニタリング装置。
