参考例2を以下に説明する。参考例2における定着装置の概略構成図を図3に示す。参考例1と同様の部分については、説明を省略する。本参考例では、参考例1と異なり、定着フィルムの温度検出手段291を該定着フィルムの外表面に当接させている。

Claims (2)
- 弾性層を有するエンドレスフィルムと、前記エンドレスフィルムの内面に接触するヒータと、前記エンドレスフィルムを介して前記ヒータと共に定着ニップ部を形成する加圧ローラと、前記エンドレスフィルムの温度を検出する第1温度検出手段と、前記ヒータへ供給する電力を制御する制御手段と、を有し、前記定着ニップ部でトナー像を担持する記録媒体を挟持搬送しつつトナー像を記録媒体に加熱定着する定着装置において、
前記ヒータの温度を検出する第2温度検出手段を有し、前記制御手段が前記ヒータへ供給する電力を制御することにより前記装置を定着可能状態まで立ち上げる立ち上げ期間中、前記第2温度検出手段の検出温度に応じて前記ヒータへ供給する電力を制御した後、前記第1温度検出手段の検出温度に応じて前記ヒータへ供給する電力を制御することにより、前記立ち上げ期間中の前記ヒータの過昇温を抑制することを特徴とする定着装置。 - 記録媒体上に未定着トナー像を形成する画像形成手段と、請求項1に記載の定着装置であって、前記画像形成手段によって記録媒体上に形成された未定着トナー像を定着する定着装置とを有することを特徴とする画像形成装置。
