Claims (10)
- 通信システムのマルチメディア・ブロードキャスト・マルチキャスト・サービス(MBMS)のサービスにおいて移動局が制御メッセージに応答する確率を決定するアクセス確率係数を適応的に設定する方法であって、
MBMSサービスに加入している移動局の数量を判定する工程と、
初期アクセス確率係数を設定する工程と、
初期アクセス確率係数を含む制御メッセージをブロードキャストする工程と、
1つ以上の移動局から制御メッセージに対する応答を受信する工程と、
移動局から受信した応答の数が0であるか否かを判定する工程と、
受信した応答の数が0でない場合、新たなアクセス確率係数がNに対するMの比を初期アクセス確率係数に乗じた値に等しくなるように調整する工程と、Mはポイントツーポイント接続を介してMBMSサービスの提供されている移動局の数をポイントツーマルチポイント接続を介してMBMSサービスの提供されている移動局の数で除した値であることと、Nはアイドル・モードの移動局の数であることとからなる方法。 - 受信した応答の数が0である場合、新たなアクセス確率係数を1に等しく設定する工程を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 受信した応答の数が0に等しくない場合、新たなアクセス確率係数は、ポイントツーポイント接続の負荷を減少させるか否かを決定するアクセス確率係数閾値より大きいか否かを判定する工程を含む請求項2に記載の方法。
- 新たなアクセス確率係数がアクセス確率係数閾値より大きい場合、新たなアクセス確率係数を1に等しく設定する工程を含む請求項3に記載の方法。
- 新たなアクセス確率係数は1より大きいか否かを判定する工程を含む請求項4に記載の方法。
- 通信システムのマルチメディア・ブロードキャスト・マルチキャスト・サービス(MBMS)のサービスにおいて移動局が制御メッセージに応答する確率を決定するアクセス確率係数を適応的に設定する方法であって、
MBMSサービスに加入している移動局の数量を判定する工程と、
初期アクセス確率係数を設定する工程と、
初期アクセス確率係数を含む制御メッセージをブロードキャストする工程と、
1つ以上の移動局から制御メッセージに対する応答を受信する工程と、
移動局から受信した応答の数が0であるか否かを判定する工程と、
受信した応答の数が0でない場合、新たなアクセス確率係数がNに対するMの比を初期アクセス確率係数に乗じた値に等しくなるように調整する工程と、Mはポイントツーポイント接続を介してMBMSサービスの提供されている移動局の数をポイントツーマルチポイント接続を介してMBMSサービスの提供されている移動局の数で除した値であることと、Nはアイドル・モードの移動局の数であることと、
移動局と通信システムとの間にポイントツーポイント接続が確立されているか否かを移動局が判定する工程とからなる方法。 - ポイントツーポイント接続が確立されていない場合、0〜1の乱数を選択する工程を含む請求項6に記載の方法。
- 選択した乱数が新たなアクセス確率係数より小さいか否かを判定する工程を含む請求項7に記載の方法。
- 選択した乱数が新たなアクセス確率係数より小さい場合、移動局が通信システムとの接続を確立させる工程を含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- 受信した応答の数が0である場合、新たなアクセス確率係数を1に等しく設定する工程を含む請求項6に記載の方法。
