Claims (3)
- 電解液流通孔とガス流通孔とが穿設された電極板が所定の間隔をあけて多数並列状に配設され、上記各電極板間に形成される密閉空間内に電解液が上記各電解液流通孔を介して外部から導入され、上記各電極板に通電することにより上記各密閉空間内に酸水素ガスが生成され上記各ガス流通孔を介して外部に取り出されるように構成された電解セルであって、上記各電極板が円盤形状に形成され、上記各電極板の両側面にそれぞれ、それ自体の外周面が上記各電極板の外周面に沿う形状に形成された電気的絶縁性および弾性を有する環状被覆層が、電解液流通孔とガス流通孔とを取り囲む状態で一体的に接合され、上記各電極板およびその両環状被覆層に、これらを貫通する複数のボルト挿通孔が所定のピッチで穿設され、上記各電極板の一側面の環状被覆層の、上記各ボルト挿通孔より内側の部分から、電気的絶縁性および弾性を有する環状凸部が一体的に突設され、隣り合う両電極板の一方の一側面の環状被覆層と他方の他側面の環状被覆層との間に、上記環状凸部の突出高さより低い複数のスペーサを介して上記各電極板を並列状に配設し、その状態で上記各電極板のボルト挿通孔に締め付けボルトを挿通して締め付けることにより、上記各スペーサが上記両環状被覆層に当接し、かつ、上記一側面の環状被覆層の環状凸部が上記他側面の環状被覆層に密閉状に圧接していることを特徴とする電解セル。
- 上記各電極板の両側面に一体的に接合された両環状被覆層が、上記各電極板の外周面に一体的に接合された連結用環状被覆層で連結されている請求項1記載の電解セル。
- 上記スペーサが、電気的絶縁性材料からなる筒状体で構成され、この筒状体の貫通孔に締め付けボルトが挿通された状態で、上記筒状体の一端部がボルト挿通孔に内嵌固定されている請求項1または2記載の電解セル。
