Claims (6)
- 車両座席(2)の占有状態を識別するシステムであって、車両座席(2)の座席表面には、それぞれ印加された重量による力に応じて変化する電気信号をタップすることのできる測定素子(R31...R3n,R61...R6n)が平面状に配置されており、該測定素子は、各ネットワークについてそれぞれ全電気信号(G3,G4,G5,G6)が求められるように、複数のネットワーク(3,4,5,6)内で相互に接続されており、評価ユニット(7)が、前記全電気信号から、ネットワーク(3,4,5,6)が占有状態(1)なのか非占有状態(0)なのかを判定することができるように構成されている形式のシステムにおいて、
衝突事故の際に、少なくとも1つのネットワーク(3,4,5,6)が占有(1)されていると識別された場合、車両乗員が存在している場合のように乗員保護手段(14)をトリガし、
安全ベルトが着用されておらず、かつ同時に、車両の縦方向または横方向において既に識別されたネットワークに隣接して配置されている別のネットワーク(3,4,5,6)が占有(1)されている場合にのみ、車両乗員に対して相応する警報(15)を発する、ことを特徴とする車両座席(2)の占有状態を識別するシステム。 - 車両乗員(11)に対して警報(15)を発するためには必ず検出されなければならない別の占有されたネットワーク(3,4,5,6)は、前記評価ユニット(7)に格納されている規則にしたがって決定される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記ネットワーク(3,4,5,6)の測定素子(R31...R3n,R61...R6n)は並列接続された抵抗素子であり、その抵抗値は印加された重量による力によって特性曲線にしたがって変化する、請求項1または2記載のシステム。
- 前記タップ可能な信号は、電流が既知のときに前記抵抗(R31...R3n,R61...R6n)において降下する電圧である、請求項1から3のいずれか1項記載のシステム。
- 前記ネットワーク(3,4,5,6)の前に保護抵抗(R3vor,R4vor,R5vor,R6vor)が直列に接続されている、請求項3または4記載のシステム。
- 各ネットワーク(3,4,5,6)の前にそれぞれ1つの保護抵抗(R3vor,R4vor,R5vor,R6vor)が直列に配置されている、請求項5記載のシステム。
