Description
Claims (6)
- 負荷に対して安定化した電圧を供給するスイッチングレギュレータは、
電源と、
前記電源から前記負荷への電力の供給を制御するスイッチ回路と、
前記安定化した電圧を示すフィードバック信号を生成するフィードバック回路と、
タイミング信号を発生するタイミング信号発生器と、
ランプ信号を発生するランプ信号発生器と、
前記電源によって供給される電流を示す検出信号を発生する検出信号回路と、
前記ランプ信号によって制御され、前記ランプ信号を示す補償信号を発生する電流源と、
前記電流源、タイミング信号発生器、フィードバック回路及び検出信号回路と接続され、前記タイミング信号、補償信号、検出信号及びフィードバック信号に基づいて、前記スイッチ回路の開閉を制御するコントロール信号を発生する制御回路とを備え、
前記電源及び負荷は、コモン端子と接続され、
前記コントロール回路は、リファレンス信号と前記フィードバック信号との差異によって変動する信号から前記補償信号を減算し、
前記補償信号は、前記リファレンス信号と前記フィードバック信号との差異によって変動する信号と、キャパシタと抵抗素子を有するループフィルタを介して結合されており、
前記抵抗素子は直流電圧源を介して前記コモン端子と接続されている。 - 請求項1に記載のスイッチングレギュレータにおいて、
前記キャパシタと前記抵抗素子とは、直列に接続されており、
前記補償信号は、前記抵抗素子に印加されるか、前記抵抗素子と前記キャパシタとの間のノードに結合されている。 - 請求項1に記載のスイッチングレギュレータにおいて、
前記コントロール回路は、リファレンス信号と前記フィードバック信号との差異によって変動する信号から前記補償信号を減算した信号が、所定値を越えないように制限する制限回路を有している。 - 電源から負荷への安定化された電圧の供給を制御するスイッチ回路を含むスイッチングレギュレータの動作を制御するスロープ補償方法は、
前記安定化された電圧を示すフィードバック信号を発生する工程と、
前記電源によって供給された電流を示す検出信号を発生する工程と、
タイミング信号を発生する工程と、
ランプ信号を発生する工程と、
前記ランプ信号によって制御され、前記ランプ信号を示す補償信号を発生する電流源を準備する工程と、
前記補償信号、タイミング信号、検出信号及びフィードバック信号に基づいて、前記スイッチ回路の開閉を制御するコントロール信号を発生する工程と、
前記フィードバック信号とリファレンス信号との差異によって変動する信号を発生する工程と、
前記フィードバック信号とリファレンス信号との差異によって変動する信号から前記補償信号を減算する工程と、
前記補償信号を前記フィードバック信号と前記リファレンス信号との差異によって変動する信号と、キャパシタ及び直流電圧源を介して接地された抵抗素子を有するループフィルタを介して結合する工程を備えている。 - 請求項4に記載のスロープ補償方法において、
前記キャパシタと前記抵抗素子とは直列に接続されており、
前記補償信号は、前記抵抗素子に印加されるか、前記キャパシタと前記抵抗素子との間のノードに供給される。 - 請求項4に記載のスロープ補償方法において、
前記フィードバック信号とリファレンス信号との差異によって変動する信号から前記補償信号を減算された信号を所定値以下に制限する工程を備えている。
