Description
Claims (9)
- 検査ゾーンのまわりを長手軸を中心として回転する、前記検査ゾーンを横切る放射線を放出する放射線源と、
前記検査ゾーンを横切った放射線を検出する検出器配列であって、前記放射線源に対して前記長手軸に沿って変位するよう構成された検出器配列と、
前記検査ゾーンを横切った実質的に全部の透過放射線が前記検出器配列を迂回し、前記検査ゾーンを横切った散乱放射線が前記検出器配列を照射するよう、前記検出器配列を前記長手軸に沿って変位させるよう構成された第一の駆動ユニットとを含む、透過放射線に基づく撮像及び評価のためのCTモード及びコヒーレントな散乱放射線に基づく撮像及び評価のためのCSCTモードで動作可能なコンピュータ断層撮影装置。 - 前記放射線源は略扇形の放射線ビームを形成するよう構成され、前記検出器配列は、検出器平面上の前記放射線ビームの断面の長さ及び幅に従って行及び列に夫々配置された複数の検出器素子を有する、請求項1記載のコンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記検出器配列は、行に配置された複数の検出器素子を含む、請求項1記載のコンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記装置は源コリメータを含み、前記源コリメータは、前記検査ゾーンを横切った透過放射線が前記検出器配列を実質的に迂回するよう、前記放射線ビームの伝搬方向に対して垂直な方向に前記放射線源からずらされるように前記放射線源に対して配置される、請求項1記載のコンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記源コリメータが前記放射線ビームの伝搬方向に対して垂直な方向に変位するよう構成されており、前記装置はさらに、前記検査ゾーンを横切った透過放射線が前記検出器配列を実質的に迂回するよう、前記放射線源に対して前記源コリメータを選択的に変位させる第二の駆動ユニットを含む、請求項4記載のコンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記装置は、前記検査ゾーンと前記検出器配列の間に配置され、前記検出器配列を照射する前記透過放射線の強度が前記検出器配列を照射する散乱放射線の強度と実質的に等しくなるよう前記透過放射線を減衰させる部分領域を含む検出器コリメータをさらに含む、請求項1記載のコンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記部分領域は開口を有し、前記開口を通る透過放射線は実質的に減衰されることなく前記検出器配列を照射する、請求項6記載のコンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 前記放射線源は前記長手軸に沿って変位するよう構成されており、前記装置はさらに、前記検査ゾーンを横切った透過放射線が前記検出器配列を実質的に迂回するよう、当該コンピュータ断層撮影装置が備える源コリメータに対して前記放射線源を長手軸に沿って変位させる第二の駆動ユニットを含む、請求項1記載のコンピュータ断層撮影装置。
- 散乱された放射線のみが前記検出器配列を照射する、請求項1記載のコンピュータ断層撮影装置。
