Claims (7)
- 花弁状底部(4)を有した熱可塑性材料製容器(2)を製造するための方法であって、
ブロー成型モールド内において高温の予成型体(16)を延伸ブロー成型することにより、製造を行い、
前記ブロー成型モールドを、花弁状モールド底部(1)を備えたものとし、
このモールド底部(1)を、複数の径方向リッジ(13)と、これらリッジに対して交互配置された複数のキャビティ(11)と、を備えたものとし、
前記リッジを、前記ブロー成型時に、前記容器の前記花弁状底部(4)の複数の谷(7)を形成し得るものとし、
前記キャビティを、前記ブロー成型時に、前記容器の前記花弁状底部(4)の複数の山(5)を形成し得るものとし、
延伸ロッド(15)を使用して行われる延伸ステップの際に、前記延伸ロッドの端部(22)の外表面を、高温の前記予成型体(16)の端部(20)のうちの、前記予成型体(16)の底部(18)上にわたって延在しているおよび前記予成型体(16)の前記底部(18)に隣接した予成型体ボディ(21)の軸線方向部分上にわたって延在している長手方向領域(19)に対して接触させず、
これら長手方向領域(19)を、前記モールド底部(1)の前記各キャビティ(11)に対して実質的に対向した状態で、前記予成型体(16)の前記端部において周縁回りに分散配置されたものとし、
この構成に基づき、前記長手方向領域における熱可塑性材料を、熱損失を低減させたものとして、高温のまま維持し、これにより、一様な態様でもって延伸を行い得るものとし、その結果、前記容器の前記底部の前記山の厚さを、増大させ、機械的に強固なものとすることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法において、
前記延伸ロッドの前記端部(22)の前記外表面を、複数の凹所領域(23)を有したものとし、
これら複数の凹所領域(23)を、前記モールド底部(1)内における前記キャビティ(11)の数と等しい数のものとし、なおかつ、前記キャビティ(11)の角度的な分散配置状況と同じ態様でもって角度的に分散配置し、
前記延伸ロッド(15)を、所定角度位置において、回転しないようにロックし、これにより、前記凹所領域(23)を、前記モールド底部(1)の前記キャビティ(11)に対して実質的に対向した状態に配置することを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項2記載の方法において、
前記延伸ロッド(15)の前記端部(22)の前記外表面内へと凹んだものとして設けられた前記凹所領域を、長手方向に延在したグルーブ(23)とすることを特徴とする方法。 - 花弁状底部(4)を有した熱可塑性材料製容器(2)を製造するための装置であって、
高温の予成型体(16)を延伸ブロー成型することにより、製造を行うものであり、
前記装置が、花弁状モールド底部(1)を備えた少なくとも1つのブロー成型モールドを具備したものとし、
前記モールド底部(1)が、複数の径方向リッジ(13)と、これらリッジに対して交互配置された複数のキャビティ(11)と、を備え、
前記リッジが、前記ブロー成型時に、前記容器の前記花弁状底部(4)の複数の谷(7)を形成し得るものとされ、
前記キャビティが、前記ブロー成型時に、前記容器の前記花弁状底部(4)の複数の山(5)を形成し得るものとされ、
前記モールドが、前記モールド底部(1)の軸線(12)に沿って実質的に移動可能とされた延伸ロッド(15)に対して機能的に協働するものとされ、
この装置を、請求項2記載の方法を実施するために使用し、
前記延伸ロッド(15)が、端部(22)を備え、
この端部(22)の外表面が、複数の凹所領域(23)を有し、
これら複数の凹所領域(23)が、前記モールド底部(1)内における前記キャビティ(11)の数と等しい数のものとされ、なおかつ、前記キャビティ(11)の角度的な分散配置状況と同じ態様でもって角度的に分散配置され、
前記延伸ロッド(15)に対して回転阻止手段が付設され、これにより、前記延伸ロッドが、所定角度位置において、回転しないようにロックされ、これにより、前記凹所領域(23)が、前記モールド底部(1)の前記キャビティ(11)に対して実質的に対向した状態に配置されることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項4記載の装置において、
前記延伸ロッド(15)の前記端部(22)の前記外表面内へと凹んだものとして設けられた前記凹所領域が、長手方向に延在したグルーブ(23)とされていることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項5記載の装置において、
前記グルーブ(23)の深さおよび幅の一方または双方が、長手方向において場所ごとに大きさが異なるものとされていることを特徴とする装置。 - 請求項5または6記載の装置において、
前記延伸ロッド(15)が、第1直径(D)を有したような全体的に円形横断面をなす円筒形状のものとされ、
前記延伸ロッド(15)の前記端部(22)が、前記延伸ロッド(15)の前記第1直径(D)よりも実質的に小さな第2直径(d)を有した円形横断面をなす円筒形状のものとされた端部(26)と、比較的小さな円錐角度を有した円錐台形状のものとされた中間連結部分(25)と、を備え、
前記グルーブ(23)が、前記延伸ロッド(15)の前記端部(26)および前記中間連結部分(25)にわたってだけではなく、前記円錐台形状の前記中間連結部分(25)に隣接した前記第1直径部分(27)上にわたっても、延在していることを特徴とする装置。
