Description
回転体の回転角に対応した角度方向に光を走査する走査ミラーと、
前記走査ミラーによる走査光によって、軸線方向に沿って外周面が走査される蛍光ファイバと、
前記蛍光ファイバの一方の端面からの射出光の強度を検出する第1受光素子、および前記蛍光ファイバの他方の端面からの射出光の強度を検出する第2受光素子と、
前記第1および第2受光素子の出力に基づき、前記走査光の前記蛍光ファイバにおける軸線方向の走査位置を検出する走査位置検出手段とを有し、
前記蛍光ファイバはコア層に蛍光色素がドープされたものであり、
前記走査光は、前記蛍光色素を励起して蛍光を発生可能な波長の光であり、
検出された前記走査位置に基づき前記回転体の回転角度位置が検出されることを特徴としている。

X=L/2・(V1−V2)/(V1+V2)
VP1・VK=VZ1
VP2・VK=VZ2
VZ1+VZ2=VREF
Vo=VZ1−VZ2=VK(VP1−VP2)
ここで、
VK=VREF/(VP1+VP2)
であるので、これを上式に代入してVKを消去すると、
Vo=VREF(VP1−VP2)/(VP1+VP2)
となる。
なお、上記の例は揺動モータの角度検出装置に本発明を適用したものである。他の回転体の回転角度を検出するために本発明を適用可能なことは勿論である。

Claims (3)
- 回転体の回転角に対応した角度方向に光を走査する走査ミラーと、
前記走査ミラーによる走査光によって、軸線方向に沿って外周面が走査される蛍光ファイバと、
前記蛍光ファイバの一方の端面からの射出光の強度を検出する第1受光素子、および前記蛍光ファイバの他方の端面からの射出光の強度を検出する第2受光素子と、
前記第1および第2受光素子の出力に基づき、前記走査光の前記蛍光ファイバにおける軸線方向の走査位置を検出する走査位置検出手段とを有し、
前記蛍光ファイバはコア層に蛍光色素がドープされたものであり、
前記走査光は、前記蛍光色素を励起して蛍光を発生可能な波長の光であり、
前記走査位置検出手段は、前記第1および第2受光素子の出力の和が一定値となるように各出力値を調節するための出力調節回路と、調節後の各出力の差を求める差動増幅器とを備えており、
前記出力調節回路は、前記第1受光素子の出力を乗算するための第1乗算器と、前記第2受光素子の出力を乗算するための第2乗算器と、各乗算器の出力の和を算出する加算器と、算出された出力の和と基準値の差を求める減算器と、減算結果に基づき各乗算器の乗算率を算出する積分器とを備えており、
各乗算器の出力が前記差動増幅器に入力され、当該差動増幅器の出力に基づいて検出された前記走査位置に基づき前記回転体の回転角度位置が検出される回転体の角度検出装置。 - 請求項1において、
前記蛍光ファイバは、前記走査光の走査中心を中心とする円弧形状のものである回転体の角度検出装置。 - 請求項1または2において、
前記回転体は有限角度範囲内を左右に回動する揺動モータであり、
前記揺動モータの回転軸に前記走査ミラーが固定されている回転体の角度検出装置。
