Description
【0001】
例えば、ITS(Intelligent Transport Systems)と呼ばれる高度交通システムでは、道路上に設置される路側機と自動車との間の通信方式の一つとして、DSRC(Dedicated Short Range Commnication)と呼ばれる狭域通信方式の利用が検討されている。
【0003】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mobile information transmission system and a credit system suitable for an automatic toll collection system on a highway, for example.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, in an intelligent transportation system called ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems), one of the communication systems between roadside devices installed on roads and automobiles is a narrow-area communication system called DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Commnication). Use is under consideration.
[0003]
As a concrete system using DSRC, ETC (Registered trademark) A toll road automatic toll collection system and a parking lot utilization management system called (Electronic Toll Collection System) have been proposed. Conventional ETC (Registered trademark) Then, one wireless base station (hereinafter referred to as a roadside device) is installed beside or above a specific place on the road, and a wireless communication terminal (hereinafter referred to as an in-vehicle device) is mounted on each automobile. When a vehicle enters a communication area on the road of the roadside device, communication is performed between the vehicle-mounted device of the vehicle and the one roadside device.
[0004]
Currently, ETC (Registered trademark) DSRC between such a single roadside device and the vehicle-mounted device is defined in “Toll Road Automatic Toll Collection System Standard ARIB STD-T55 Version 1.1”.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An automobile (on-vehicle device) traveling on an expressway may make a payment using a credit card or the like at a toll gate on the expressway, a shop in a service area, a gas station, or the like. When using a credit card, it is necessary to make a payment while checking the credit balance and the like between the credit card usage location and the management center that manages the credit information.
[0006]
However, the DSRC communication area of a single roadside unit is a narrow one with a total length of only about several tens of meters. Therefore, in an automatic toll collection system on a highway to which DSRC is applied, when a vehicle passes through this narrow communication area at a normal cruising speed (for example, about 100 km / h), the communicable time is too short (for example, 1 to 2 seconds), there is a possibility that sufficient time for inquiring the credit status to the management center cannot be obtained. Therefore, conventional ETC (Registered trademark) When a credit check is performed on the management center with a single roadside device, the vehicle needs to travel at a sufficiently low speed before entering the communication area of the roadside device, or to temporarily stop there. is there. However, as a result, there arises a problem that the purpose of the automatic toll collection system that eliminates traffic congestion due to toll gates cannot be sufficiently achieved.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a mobile credit system capable of giving credit information to an automobile traveling at high speed. Another object of the present invention is to provide a mobile credit system that provides credit information to a mobile that moves at high speed and enables simple settlement.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, in the mobile information transmission system and the credit system according to the present invention, a plurality of radio communication base stations are arranged on the travel route of the mobile body. Each of these wireless communication base stations has a respective communication area, and can communicate with the mobile body when the mobile body is located in the respective communication area. . The credit information management device manages credit information of a mobile body as information to be transmitted to the mobile body, and is provided so as to be able to communicate with each radio communication base station.
[0009]
The credit request means communicates with the mobile body via any one of the wireless communication base stations, and requests credit information about the mobile body from the credit information management apparatus. The delivery source designation means designates a radio communication base station to which the credit information from the credit information management device is to be delivered to the mobile unit. The credit information setting means delivers and sets credit information to the mobile unit via the radio communication base station designated as the delivery source.
[0010]
That is, a service zone is formed on a travel route by a series of wireless communication stations. When a mobile object enters this service zone, credit information is transmitted via a wireless communication base station located on the start side of the travel route. Credit information is requested from the management device. For the mobile unit, a radio communication base station that should receive credit information from the credit information management device is designated. While the mobile unit is moving on the travel route, the credit information management device checks the credit balance of the mobile unit and transmits the credit information to each radio communication base station. The mobile body continues to move until the credit information is transmitted from the credit information management device, and eventually enters the communication area of the radio communication base station designated as the delivery source. The delivery source radio communication base station delivers and sets credit information to the mobile unit. As a result, the mobile unit can make payment based on the set credit information.
[0011]
In a preferred embodiment, the delivery source designating means sequentially sets the wireless communication base stations located on the course of the mobile body according to the movement of the mobile body until the credit information is set for the mobile body. Designated as a wireless communication base station.
[0012]
Each time the mobile unit reaches the communication area of each radio communication base station, it can request delivery of credit information. A radio communication base station that has not received the credit information from the credit information management device cannot deliver the credit information to the mobile unit. When the mobile body reaches the communication area of the radio communication base station that has received the credit information from the credit information management device, the mobile body can receive the credit information.
[0013]
In a preferred embodiment, the delivery source designating unit is configured so that the mobile unit arrives when receiving the credit information from the credit information management device based on the moving speed of the mobile unit and the time required for the credit confirmation by the credit information management device. The wireless communication base station at the point predicted to be present is designated as the wireless communication base station of the delivery source. And when delivery of credit information from the previously specified radio communication base station to the mobile unit fails, a new radio communication base station located on the path of the mobile unit is used as the transfer source radio communication base station. Respecify.
[0014]
A predetermined value can be set in advance for the moving speed of the moving body and the credit confirmation time in the credit information management device, or the moving speed of the moving body can be acquired and taken into consideration. Wireless communication having a communication area that covers the predicted arrival point by predicting the point where the mobile body arrives within the time from when the credit request is sent to the credit information management device until the credit information is transmitted. A base station may be set as a delivery source. If the speed of the mobile unit changes and the prediction fails and the credit information delivery fails, the credit information can be set in the mobile unit by re-designating the previous wireless communication base station as the delivery source. .
[0015]
In a preferred embodiment, payment processing means for making a payment in response to a payment request from the mobile body is further provided, and the payment processing means simply makes a payment based on credit information set in the mobile body.
[0016]
When performing strict payment, it is necessary to obtain the latest credit information at the time of payment request from the credit information management device. However, since the credit information set in the mobile body is relatively recent, it is possible to make a simple settlement using this credit information.
[0017]
Then, by setting a part of the credit balance instead of the entire credit balance in the credit information as a balance that can be settled, the security of the settlement can be improved. Specifically, for example, the amount of money that is expected to be used in the service zone such as tolls on the expressway, refueling charges, etc. is set in the credit information as the balance that can be settled, and the amount that is set in this settlement balance is credited If it is locked in the balance so that it cannot be used, it is possible to prevent the settlement exceeding the credit balance. Then, when the use of the credit information is finished, the amount placed in the locked state may be updated with the latest settleable balance in the credit information to release the locked state.
[0018]
In addition, by setting the valid period of the credit information in advance, it is possible to further improve the security of settlement.
[0019]
According to a preferred embodiment, when the mobile unit reaches the communication area of the radio communication base station located on the terminal side on the travel route, the credit information set in the mobile unit is acquired and the credit information management device Credit termination processing means for transmitting and erasing the credit information from the mobile body is further provided.
[0020]
Thereby, the usage amount in the service zone can be reflected in the credit information of the credit information management device, and the settlement is confirmed.
[0021]

As shown in FIG. 11, after confirming the identification information of the own device (S81), the distance from the own device to a point where simple payment is possible, for example, the first service area, the toll collection gate, etc. is calculated (S82). Then, it is determined whether or not the distance to the point where simple settlement is possible is greater than or equal to the predetermined distance L (S83). If the distance is greater than or equal to the predetermined distance L (S83: YES), n1 is set to the added value Δn. (S84). On the other hand, when the distance from the own device (the mobile body 3) to the simple settlement possible point is shorter than the predetermined distance L (S83: NO), n2 is set as the added value Δn (S85). Here, the relationship of n2 <n1 is set. And the
