Description
図1(a)、(b)、(c)は本実施形態の一例における誘導加熱コイルの中央断面図で、セラミッククロス4の鋼板側にセラミック短繊維を含むセラミック質表面硬化材7による耐熱絶縁層を形成させた場合であり、1はコイル導体1aとコイルフレーム1bとからなる誘導加熱コイル、2は誘導加熱コイル1を支持するベースである。この実施形態では誘導加熱コイル1は中央に鋼板Sを垂直に通す鋼板通路3を備えたソレノイド型である。しかし水平通板ができるように水平設置してもよい。
(実験1:コーティング性試験)
本発明において使用したセラミック質表面硬化材である「サーモプレグ」と、これと化学成分は同じであるが短繊維を含まないセラミック接着剤である「サーモダイン」とを用い、冷却銅板およびアルミナクロス(前記した「アルミナセブン」)へのコーティング性能を比較した。なお「サーモダイン」は「サーモプレグ」と同じ新日化サーマルセラミックス株式会社の製品であり、化学組成はともにアルミナ+シリカが95%以上、最高使用温度が1400℃である。
図3に示すように、電圧極10の先端に4種類の試験片11を取り付け、その表面に銅板製の接地極12を接触させ、電圧極10に印加する交流電圧を次第に高めながら接地極12に流れる電流を検出し、4種類の試験片11の耐電圧性能を試験した。電源は商用電源であり、これを2000Vまで昇圧して使用した。なお試験条件は温度24℃、湿度52%である。
実際の補修された誘導加熱コイルの絶縁構造に近くなるように、アルミナクロスに「サーモダイン」を塗布したものとアルミナクロスに「サーモプレグ」を塗布したものとを2層に重ねて前記と同様の方法で耐電圧試験を行ったところ、2700Vでも充電電流は8.3mAであって優れた耐電圧特性を示した。なお試験条件は温度26℃、湿度46%である。
本発明を適用したシリカ質、アルミナ−シリカ質、ボロン無しのアルミナ−シリカ質によるセラミッククロスを、誘導加熱コイルと同様の材質の水冷銅板に貼り付け、更にこれにサーモプレグを塗布して、温度500〜1200℃×72hr加熱して使用した結果を表1に示す。尚、絶縁評価は前述の実験2と同様の装置で、商用電源を200Vまで昇圧し高電圧を印加しても、充電電圧が7mA程度と良好な耐電圧特性を有した場合に○、耐電圧特性が不良で絶縁破壊が発生した場合を×とした。また強度評価は、コイルにセラミッククロスを貼り付けた後に、高温処理中に垂れ下がり等を発生せずにその形態を保持できる場合を○、その形態を保持で着ない場合を×とした。

Claims (6)
- 鋼板を誘導加熱する誘導加熱コイルの鋼板に面する側の表面にセラミッククロスを被覆する際に、セラミッククロスの誘導加熱コイル側および/または鋼板側にセラミック短繊維とセラミック微粒子とを含むセラミック質表面硬化材による耐熱絶縁層を形成することを特徴とする誘導加熱コイルの絶縁構造。
- 鋼板を誘導加熱する誘導加熱コイルが、ソレノイド型であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の誘導加熱コイルの絶縁構造。
- セラミック質表面硬化材が、アルミナまたはアルミナ−シリカ質の微粒子と、アルミナ−シリカ質のセラミック短繊維と、コロイダルシリカと、有機接着剤を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の誘導加熱コイルの絶縁構造。
- セラミック短繊維が、セラミックファイバーのバルクを解繊したものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の誘導加熱コイルの絶縁構造。
- セラミック質表面硬化材をセラミッククロスの表面に吹き付け塗布し、耐熱絶縁層を形成したことを特徴とする請求項1記載の誘導加熱コイルの絶縁構造。
- 鋼板を誘導加熱する誘導加熱コイルが、鋼板の連続焼鈍炉またはめっき設備の合金化炉に設置されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の誘導加熱コイルの絶縁構造。
