Claims (10)
- 対向配置される第1基板及び第2基板と;
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間の空間に配設されて複数の放電セルを区画する隔壁と;
前記各々の放電セル内に形成される蛍光体層と;
前記第1基板または前記第2基板のいずれかに一方向に延びて形成される複数のアドレス電極と;
前記第1基板に前記アドレス電極と交差する方向に延びて形成される複数の表示電極とを含み;
前記表示電極は,
前記各放電セルの一側の縁部近傍と他側の縁部近傍とに対をなして配置される少なくとも一対の第1表示電極と,
前記放電セルを横切るように前記対をなす第1表示電極の対の間に配置される第2表示電極とを含み;
前記第2表示電極は,その一側及び他側が,それぞれ前記第1表示電極と対向配置されて,前記各放電セル内にそれぞれ少なくとも2個の放電ギャップを形成し,
前記第1表示電極と前記第2表示電極とが対向配置されて形成される前記放電ギャップは,それぞれ,前記第1表示電極と前記第2表示電極との間の距離が,第1間隔により離隔される部分及び第2間隔により離隔される部分を含み,前記第1間隔は前記第2間隔より大きく,
前記第1表示電極は,前記各放電セルの一側に配置される第1電極部と前記各放電セルの他側に配置される第2電極部を含み,
前記第2表示電極は,前記第1電極部と対向して放電ギャップを形成する第3電極部と,前記第2電極部と対向して放電ギャップを形成する第4電極部とを含み,
前記第3電極部と前記第4電極部は,前記放電セルの前記表示電極の長さ方向の中間位置にてショートバーにより相互に連結されること,
を特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネル。 - 前記第1表示電極と前記第2表示電極との間の距離が前記第1間隔により離隔される部分は,前記放電セルの前記表示電極の長さ方向の中間に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記放電セル内の一側において前記対をなす第1表示電極の一方と前記第2表示電極の一側とが対向配置される構造と,前記放電セル内の他側において前記対をなす第1表示電極の他方と前記第2表示電極の他側とが対向配置される構造とは,前記放電セルの前記第2表示電極の長さ方向の中心線を基準に線対称となるように形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第1表示電極または前記第2表示電極の少なくとも一方は,金属材のバス電極で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第1電極部と前記第2電極部は,端子部で相互に連結されて実質的に同一の信号電圧が印加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第3電極部と前記第4電極部は,端子部で相互に連結されて実質的に同一の信号電圧が印加されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第3電極部と前記第4電極部は,端子部で相互に連結されて実質的に同一な信号電圧が印加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記第1電極部と前記第2電極部には,相互に異なる信号電圧が印加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記複数の表示電極にそれぞれ含まれる前記第1表示電極には,アドレス期間においてスキャンパルス電圧が順に印加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
- 前記複数の表示電極にそれぞれ含まれる前記第2表示電極には,アドレス期間においてスキャンパルス電圧が順に印加されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラズマディスプレイパネル。
