Claims (5)
- 光学記録媒体のトラックに沿って、光学スキャナの最適化されたトラッキングを行う方法であって、
該トラックは、高密度に連続して配置された情報マークと、極めて低密度な基本的特性の変化を有しており、
トラックエラー信号を形成するステップと、
トラックの基本的特性の変化の発生を検知するステップと、
前記基本的特性の変化の直前及び直後に発生する前記トラックエラー信号の値の差を形成することによりオフセット値を生成するステップと、
前記オフセット値を考慮にいれたトラックエラー信号を形成するステップと、
を繰り返す方法。 - 前記トラックの基本的特性の変化の発生の検知が、ヘッダー領域の検知によりもたらされることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記トラックエラー信号が、プッシュプル方法、3ビーム方法及び差動プッシュプル方法によるトラッキング方法のうちの1つを用いて形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スキャナのトラックオフセットにより損なわれる別の信号が、前記トラックエラー信号の代わりに形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 高密度に連続して配置された情報マークと、極めて低密度な基本的特性の変化を有するトラックを含む光学記録媒体の記録及び/又は再生装置であって、
トラック制御ループと、トラック特性変化検知器と、オフセット値検知器とを備えており、
前記オフセット値検知器は、トラック特性変化検知器の出力信号に基づき、トラックの基本的特性変化の検出直前及び直後における、トラック制御ループのトラックエラー信号の値の差を形成することによりオフセット値を生成し、前記オフセット値を前記トラック制御ループに与える、
