Description
尿素は、温度が200°Cを超えるときにのみ、完全に分解する。従って、200°Cは尿素を排ガスに噴射することができる最低温度である。
6 NO2 + 8 NH3 → 7 N2 + 12 H2O
普通の運転中、排ガスは高温であり、同時に噴射ノズルの内側の尿素溶液が水の蒸発温度を超えないことが重要である。この蒸発温度を超えると、尿素の結晶化および噴射ノズルの閉塞が生じる。
実施例
噴射ノズルの寸法は排気管内でアンモニアの均一な分配を達成するために重要である。
試験結果
本発明のノズルは、尿素水溶液を使用するときにきわめて有効であることが実証された。この尿素水溶液は高温の排ガス、特に窒素酸化物を含むディーゼル排ガス内に噴射される。

Claims (10)
- ノズルヘッドと供給内管と外側ケーシング管とを備え、この外側ケーシング管が供給内管から離隔して供給内管を同心的に取り囲んでいる噴射ノズルによって、高温のガス流内に流体を均一に噴射するための方法において、
供給内管とノズルヘッドを経て流体を通過させ、供給内管と外側ケーシング管の間の環状空間の少なくとも一部に断熱材を設けることによって供給内管の中の流体の温度を維持し、
ノズルヘッドの出口端部を施栓し、ノズルヘッドの出口端部に隣接してノズルヘッドに設けられた或る数のノズル穴を経て流体を噴射することにより、供給内管とノズルヘッドの内側の流体の流れを一定に維持し、
ガス流の流れ方向に対してほぼ直角の方向にかつガス流通路の中心軸線に隣接して、ノズル穴から流体を噴射し、
ノズルヘッドに隣接する領域内の外側ケーシング管を円錐状に細くすることにより、ガス流内に噴射される流体を均一に分配することを特徴とする方法。 - ガス流がディーゼルエンジンからの排ガス流であり、流体が20〜50重量%、好ましくは30〜35重量%の尿素を含む水溶液であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 水溶液が圧縮された空気によってノズルヘッドに送出されることを特徴とする、請求項2記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の方法で使用される噴射ノズルにおいて、流体用供給内管に接続されたノズルヘッドを備え、供給内管が外側ケーシング管によって離隔して同心的に取り囲まれ、
供給内管と外側ケーシング管との間の空間の少なくとも一部に、断熱材料が充填され、 外側ケーシング管がノズルヘッドに隣接する領域において供給内管の外壁に隣接するまで円錐状に細くなっており、
ノズルヘッドがプラグによって出口端部を施栓され、
ノズルヘッドがそのプラグに隣接した領域に、等間隔をおいて配置された或る数のノズル穴を有することを特徴とする噴射ノズル。 - ノズルヘッドの外径と内径の大きさが供給内管の外径と内径の大きさと同じであることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の噴射ノズル。
- ノズルヘッドが供給内管とノズル穴の間に90°の曲がり部を有する管であることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の噴射ノズル。
- 断熱材料がセラミックコンパウンドであることを特徴とする、請求項4記載の噴射ノズル。
- 外側ケーシング管の円錐状に細く形成された部分の内面が30°の角度を有することを特徴とする、請求項4記載の噴射ノズル。
- 供給内管が6mmの外径と1.5mmの壁厚を有し、外側ケーシング管が25mmの外径と1.22mmの壁厚を有し、ノズルヘッドが等間隔をおいて配置された、0.55mmの直径を有する4個のノズル穴または等間隔をおいて配置された、0.39mmの直径を有する8個のノズル穴を有することを特徴とする、請求項4記載の噴射ノズル。
- 曲がり部とノズル穴の間のノズルヘッドの直線部分の長さが5mmであることを特徴とする、請求項6記載の噴射ノズル。
