Description
本発明の内燃機関用レーザ点火装置を適用した筒内直接噴射式内燃機関について説明する。本実施形態における筒内直接噴射式内燃機関(以下、「エンジン」という)については、図1および図2を参照して説明する。図1は、本実施形態のエンジンの構成を示す図である。図2は、レーザ光発生装置20および制御装置30を示すブロック図である。
Claims (6)
- 内燃機関の燃焼室内の混合気に点火用レーザ光を照射して前記混合気を活性化させる点火用レーザ光照射手段と、
前記燃焼室内に濃度計測用レーザ光を照射して該濃度計測用レーザ光の強度に基づき前記混合気が燃焼することにより生成される燃焼生成物の濃度を計測する濃度計測用レーザ光照射手段と、
前記燃焼生成物の濃度に基づき前記混合気の当量比を変更する当量比変更制御手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関用レーザ点火装置。 - 前記濃度計測用レーザ光の波長は、前記燃焼生成物の吸収波長付近である請求項2記載の内燃機関用レーザ点火装置。
- 前記点火用レーザ光および前記濃度計測用レーザ光を発生させるレーザ光発生手段を備える請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関用レーザ点火装置。
- 前記当量比変更制御手段は、前記燃焼生成物の濃度が所定値より大きい場合には前記当量比を低減する請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の内燃機関用レーザ点火装置。
- 前記当量比変更制御手段は、前記燃焼生成物の濃度の最大値または平均値の何れかが所定値より大きい場合に前記当量比を低減する請求項4記載の内燃機関用レーザ点火装置。
- 前記当量比変更制御手段は、燃料噴射量、吸入空気量、EGR率の少なくとも何れかを変更する請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の内燃機関用レーザ点火装置。
