Claims (4)
- クランクシャフトの回転に連動して作動し、吸気弁又は排気弁を開閉駆動すると共に、制御軸の回転に伴って吸気弁又は排気弁のリフト特性を可変とする内燃機関の可変動弁機構において、
上記制御軸は、内燃機関本体側の制御軸軸受に回転可能に支持されるジャーナル部と、該ジャーナル部に隣接し、上記制御軸の外周面から突出して該制御軸の制御軸軸方向の移動を規制するフランジ部と、を有し、
上記フランジ部は、内燃機関本体側のフランジ受け部に回転可能に支持されていると共に、上記フランジ部の外周には、制御軸半径方向外側に向かって突出して上記制御軸の回転範囲を規制するストッパ突出片が形成されていることを特徴とする内燃機関の可変動弁機構。 - 上記ストッパ突出片は、上記制御軸の回転に伴い該ストッパ突出片が突き当たる上記フランジ受け部のストッパ突出片受け面に対して面接触するよう形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁機構。
- 上記制御軸軸受は、内燃機関本体側に設けられた軸受本体部と、該軸受本体部と伴に上記ジャーナル部を回転可能に挟持するキャップ部と、を有し、
上記フランジ受け部のストッパ突出片受け面と、上記軸受本体部と上記キャップ部との合わせ面とが同一平面上に位置するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁機構。 - 上記軸受本体部と、上記フランジ受け部とが一体に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関の可変動弁機構。
