Claims (1)
- 軸と、該軸に設けられたロータと、該軸の回転を支持する動圧型多孔質含油軸受とを備えたスピンドルモータにおいて、
前記動圧型多孔質含油軸受は、焼結金属からなり、前記軸の摺動面と軸受隙間を介して対向する軸受面を有する軸受本体を備えており、
前記軸受本体の軸受面にはヘリングボーン形状の動圧溝が形成されていると共に、該動圧溝を含めて開孔部が分布しており、前記軸受面における該開孔部の表面積比率は2%以上20%以下であり、
前記軸受隙間に介在する油の動圧油膜によって前記軸の摺動面を浮上支持すると共に、前記軸受本体の内部の油が前記軸受面の軸方向両側部の開孔部から前記軸受隙間に滲み出し、前記軸受隙間内の油が前記軸受面の軸方向中央部の開孔部から前記軸受本体の内部に戻ることにより、油を前記軸受本体の内部と軸受隙間との間で循環させるスピンドルモータ。
