Description
この実施例において、500mlの標準的なガソリン(典型的な緑色の色合い)を石油学会標準試験色判定方法17(IP17)に基づいて試験した。この試験ではサンプルを赤色、黄色及び青色といった一連の基本色と比較する。数字が高いほど、サンプルはより着色している。

実施例1を酸性洗浄、活性炭素で繰り返した。

以下の更なる脱色試験を、濃縮器、攪拌機及び温度計の装備された500mlフラスコを用いて実行した。150gのガソリンを、いろいろな源からのいろいろな活性炭素の一回分とともに初めに使用した。より大きなサンプルを処理する前に、この程度の規模の調整にて色除去の視覚的チェックを実行した。結果を以下の表1に示す。
2000リットルのガソリンを二つのロットに分け、それぞれ1000リットルとした。1000リットルを活性炭素に接触させ、脱色された製品を生じさせた。1000リットルを基準燃料として一方に取っておいた。メルセデスエンジンを300リットルの燃料にて走行させることを特徴とする(M102Eテスト)業界標準試験を用いて、二つの燃料のエンジン沈着物形成傾向について比較した。結果を表2に示す。
Claims (6)
- (a)適切な成分を共に混合し、200℃未満の終点を有すると共に30乃至110kPaのリード蒸気圧を有する液体燃料のガソリンを調製し、(b)1つ又はそれ以上の成分を構成する液体燃料のガソリンを、ひとまとめに脱色化する、木、ココナッツ又は石炭から調製される活性炭と接触させる工程からなる自動車用または航空用ガソリンである液体炭化水素燃料を調製する方法において、
該炭素は燃料からインダン、ナフタリン、フェナントレン、ピレン、アルキルベンゼン及びそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される微量の不純物の少なくとも一部を除去することを特徴とする自動車用または航空用ガソリンである液体炭化水素燃料を調製する方法。 - 燃料の硫黄含量を減少させる請求項1記載の方法。
- 燃料が炭素濾過床を通過し微量の色を除去する請求項1または2記載の方法。
- ガソリンが0.775g/cm3を超えない密度を有する請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- ガソリンの石油学会色判定標準試験IP17が炭素との接触前で5より高い黄色/5より高い青色、炭素との接触後で5未満黄色/5未満青色である請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の方法。
- ガソリンのセーボルト色評価が炭素との接触前で10未満、炭素との接触後で20より高い請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の方法。
