Claims (8)
- 両口の鋳型空洞(C)の向かい合う側に一対の鋳型側壁(11)を含み、前記鋳型空洞は、溶融金属を連続的に受け取る入口端部(E)、および溶融金属から形成される可動凝固条片(S)を連続的に放出する出口端部(D)を有し、前記鋳型側壁(11)は、それぞれ黒鉛ブロック(13)を含み、さらに各黒鉛ブロック(13)ごとに冷却系を含み、前記黒鉛ブロックに接触する冷却チューブ(15)を含む金属条片の連続鋳造用鋳型において、
前記鋳型側壁(11)のそれぞれの黒鉛ブロック(13)は、複数の細長い黒鉛薄片(16)からなるスタックで形成され、前記黒鉛薄片は、対向面(16A)および内側縁部(16B)を有し、該内側縁部(16B)は、前記鋳型空洞(C)に向けた表面(13A)を共同で形成し、前記冷却チューブ(15)は、前記スタックを通って張られて、前記スタックを形成する黒鉛薄片(16)の対向面(16A)を横断することを特徴とする鋳型。 - 請求項1に記載の連続鋳造用鋳型において、該鋳型は、前記スタックの2つの最外黒鉛薄片(16C)における各自の外面(16A)と直接係合する一対の金属端部材(17)を含み、前記冷却チューブ(15)は、前記端部材に挿入されることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1または2に記載の連続鋳造用鋳型において、各スタックの前記黒鉛薄片(16)は、配向されて、それらの内側縁部(16)が、前記鋳型空洞(C)の入口端部および出口端部(E、D)間に伸びて、これによって、鋳型の動作において、前記冷却チューブ(15)は、前記鋳型空洞の出口端部(D)を通って放出される条片(S)の動作方向を横断して張られることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の連続鋳造用鋳型において、前記鋳型空洞(C)における一対の両端壁(12)は、前記黒鉛薄片(16)のスタックの端部に沿って前記側壁(11)間のギャップを埋める一対の黒鉛バーによって形成されることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の連続鋳造用鋳型において、該鋳型は、前記鋳型側壁(11)ごとに、前記薄片(16)のスタックによって支持される薄い黒鉛板で形成される鋳型空洞裏打ち材を含むことを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の連続鋳造用鋳型において、該鋳型は、前記黒鉛薄片(16)のスタックごとに、前記スタックと実質的に同一の広がりを持つスタック支持板(14)を含むことを特徴とする鋳型。
- 請求項1ないし6のいずれかに記載の連続鋳造用鋳型において、前記黒鉛薄片(16)は、配向された稠密な黒鉛薄片から生成され、前記黒鉛薄片の対向面(16A)に対して通常、平行になることを特徴とする鋳型。
- 複数の細長い黒鉛薄片(16)からなるスタックを含み、前記黒鉛薄片は、対向面(16A)および内側縁部(16B)を有し、該内側縁部は、冷却すべき対象から熱を受け取る表面(13A)を共同で形成し、さらに前記スタックを通って張られて、前記スタックを形成する薄片(16)の対向面(16A)を横断する冷却チューブ(15)を含む冷却装置。
