Description
固形のイオン交換樹脂の片面に金属電極を形成し、該イオン交換樹脂のもう片方の面にイオン交換樹脂溶液と塩との混合分散物をコーティングしてコーティング層を形成する工程、
他の金属が片面に接着した固形の他のイオン交換樹脂のもう片方の面に前記混合分散物のコーディング層を接着して複合体を製造する工程、
前記複合体を溶媒に浸漬して前記塩を溶解除去し、前記コーティング層中のイオン交換樹脂内部に空隙を形成する工程、及び
前記イオン交換樹脂を通して前記空隙に電解液を充填する工程、
を含むポリマーキャパシターの製造方法が提供される。
前記方法により製造された、
上下が金属電極であって、
該金属電極間にはイオン交換樹脂が配置され、
該イオン交換樹脂内には電解液が充填された空隙が存在するポリマーキャパシターが提供される。
上記塩(14)としては、NaNO3、NaCl、NaHCO3、KHSO4、Na2SO4、Na2CO3、NH4NO3、NH4Cl、(NH4)2SO4、(NH4)2CO3、(NH4)HCO3、Ca(NO3)2、CaCl2、CaSO4、CaCO3、Ba(NO3)2、BaCl2、BaSO4、BaCO3、AgNO3、AgCl、Ag2SO4またはAg2CO3を単独あるいは2種以上を混合して使用することができる。
本発明の方法により製造されたポリマーキャパシターの側断面図を第2図に示す。第2図に示すように、本発明の方法により製造されたポリマーキャパシター(20)は上下が金属電極(21)(21)であって、該金属電極間にはイオン交換樹脂(23)が配置されてなる構造をしており、イオン交換樹脂内には電解液(27)が充填された複数の均一な微細空隙が存在する。本発明の製造方法により、イオン交換樹脂内に形成される空隙の数、大きさ及び分散を均一に制御することができ、得られたポリマーキャパシターは優れた電気容量及びエネルギー密度などの電気的特性を再現性よく示すことができる。
イオン交換樹脂溶液(ナフィオン(登録商標))100gに平均粒子直径150nmの(NH4)HCO3を5vol%で添加して機械的攪拌機により30分間攪拌し、混合分散物を製造した。一方、フィルム形態のイオン交換樹脂(ナフィオン(登録商標))の片面にAu金属錯体を吸着させた後、還元して該樹脂表面に金属を析出させてAu電極を形成した。

Claims (11)
- 固形のイオン交換樹脂の片面に金属電極を形成し、該イオン交換樹脂のもう片方の面にイオン交換樹脂溶液と塩との混合分散物をコーティングしてコーティング層を形成する工程、
他の金属が片面に接着した固形の他のイオン交換樹脂のもう片方の面に前記混合分散物のコーディング層を接着して複合体を製造する工程、
前記複合体を溶媒に浸漬して前記塩を溶解除去し、前記コーティング層中のイオン交換樹脂内部に空隙を形成する工程、及び
前記イオン交換樹脂を通して前記空隙に電解液を充填する工程、
を含むポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。 - 前記金属電極は白金、金、銅、亜鉛、アルミニウム及びニッケルから成る群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記イオン交換樹脂はポリ(2−スルホエチルメタクリレート)、ポリ(ジアリルジメチルアンモニウムクロライド)、ポリ(スチレンスルホネート)、ポリ(ホスファゼンスルホネート)、スルホン化ポリイミド、スルホン化ポリ(2、4−ジメチルフェニレンオキサイド)、ポリ(2、4−ジメチルフェニレンオキサイド)プロピオン酸、スルホン化ポリウレタン、スルホン化ポリエーテルスルホン、スルホン化ポリ(ベンズイミダゾール)、スルホン化ポリ(4−フェノキシベンゾイル−1、4−フェニレン)、スルホン化ポリプロピレン、スルホン化ポリ(メチルメタクリレート)、ポリ(テトラフルオロエチレン−co−スルホン化ビニリデンフルオライド)、ポリ(2、4−ジメチルフェニレンオキサイド)プロペン酸及びスルホン化ポリ(エーテルエーテルケトン)から成る群から選ばれた少なくとも一つ以上の陽イオン交換樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記イオン交換樹脂は、陰イオン交換樹脂としては第4級アンモニウム塩で置換されたポリスチレン樹脂及び/または第1〜第3級アミンで置換されたポリスチレン樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記塩はNaNO3、NaCl、NaHCO3、KHSO4、Na2SO4、Na2CO3、NH4NO3、NH4Cl、(NH4)2SO4、(NH4)2CO3、(NH4)HCO3、Ca(NO3)2、CaCl2、CaSO4、CaCO3、Ba(NO3)2、BaCl2、BaSO4、BaCO3、AgNO3、AgCl、Ag2SO4またはAg2CO3から成る群から選ばれた少なくとも一種であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記塩はイオン交換樹脂溶液と塩との混合分散物の総体積の2〜85vol%でイオン交換樹脂溶液と混合及び分散されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記塩は直径が100nm〜490μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記混合分散物は10〜500μmの厚さでコーティングすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記溶媒は水、アルコール類、ケトン類、エーテル類、アミド類、ニトリル類から成る群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記電解液はリチウムイオン溶液であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
- 前記リチウムイオン溶液はLiClO4、LiCF3SO3、LiPF6またはLiBF4から成る群から選ばれることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のポリマーキャパシターの製造方法。
