Description
Claims (14)
- 流体を患者内に注入するための、駆動機構と係合するように構成されたカセットであって、
(a)表面部材がその上に取り付けられたベースを有するハウジングであって、流体経路が、前記ベースによって少なくとも一部画定されて、取入ポートと排出ポートの間をカセットを通って延びており、前記流体経路が、
(i)前記取入ポートと流体的に連絡して結合された取入通路と、
(ii)前記排出ポートと流体的に連絡して結合された排出通路と、
(iii)前記取入通路と前記排出通路の間に配置されたポンプ室とを備える、ハウジングと、
(b)前記流体経路上に延びて、ポンプ室内に変位された時ポンプ室から流体を押し出すように構成されたエラストマー膜とを備え、前記エラストマー膜が、その周縁の周囲および近傍に延びる実質上T字型のリップを備え、前記T字型のリップが、前記表面部材と前記ベースの対向する表面内に形成された溝の中で締まりばめされて捕捉され、前記表面部材が前記ベースに接合されると、前記エラストマー膜がぴんと伸張され、前記溝が、前記エラストマー膜のリップを前記溝内に捕捉した状態で、前記表面部材が前記ベース上に着座し、それと接合した時、前記T字型のリップ上の傾斜表面に対応して干渉する傾斜表面を備え、前記溝の前記傾斜表面と前記T字型のリップの相互作用による前記締まりばめによって作成された、エラストマー膜内の引張り力が、前記エラストマー膜が前記ポンプ室内に変位された時に生じる前記エラストマー膜のいかなる非弾性伸張も補償し、それによって、前記カセットによって注入される流体の所望の体積を達成することで誤差を減少させるカセット。 - 前記T字型のリップの前記傾斜表面によって画定された前記エラストマー膜の領域の量が、その中に形成された前記溝の前記傾斜表面によって前記ベースおよび表面部材内に画定された領域の量よりも小さい、請求項1に記載のカセット。
- 前記表面部材が、前記ベースに接して着座し、前記ベースに超音波溶接され、一方、前記エラストマー膜の前記T字型のリップが前記溝内の前記締まりばめ内で圧縮されている、請求項1に記載のカセット。
- 前記流体経路が、前記取入通路と前記ポンプ室の間に配置された取入バルブと、前記ポンプ室と前記排出通路の間に配置された排出バルブをさらに備える、請求項1に記載のカセット。
- 前記取入バルブが、前記ベース内に形成された取入バルブ表面と、前記エラストマー膜の下側表面上に形成された取入バルブフラップとを備え、前記取入バルブフラップが、前記取入バルブが閉鎖した時前記取入バルブ表面に着座しており、前記排出バルブが、前記ベース内に形成された排出バルブ表面と、前記エラストマー膜の下側表面上に形成された排出バルブフラップとを備え、前記排出バルブフラップが、前記排出バルブが閉鎖した時前記排出バルブ表面に着座している、請求項4に記載のカセット。
- 前記取入バルブ表面が、前記取入バルブが開放された時、前記取入バルブフラップと接触するランプを備え、前記取入バルブフラップが、前記排出バルブフラップよりも実質上薄く、したがって前記取入バルブが、前記取入バルブが開閉する時発生される可聴ノイズを実質上減少させるような構造である、請求項5に記載のカセット。
- 前記排出バルブフラップの厚さおよび前記排出バルブ表面に対するその変位が、前記ポンプ室内の流体圧力が所定のレベルに到達するまで排出バルブを閉じたままに保持しようとする偏倚力を提供し、前記偏倚力が、前記カセットを通る流体のサイフォン自由流を防止するように選択される、請求項6に記載のカセット。
- 前記ベースが、前記排出ポートを超えて延びるチューブ支持部材をさらに備え、前記カセットから押し出された流体を受けるように排出ポートに結合されたチューブを支持するように構成され、それによって前記チューブが、前記カセットの使用中、前記駆動機構上に設けられた空気インラインセンサに対して静的に位置決めされたままである、請求項1に記載のカセット。
- 流体の患者への注入に使用するための駆動機構と係合するように構成されたカセットを形成するための方法であって、
(A)ハウジングとエラストマー膜とを提供するステップを含み、
(i)ハウジングは、表面部材がその上に取り付けられたベースを有し、流体経路が、前記ベースによって少なくとも一部画定されて、取入ポートと排出ポートの間をカセットを通って延びており、前記流体経路が、(a)前記取入ポートと流体的に連絡して結合された取入通路と、(b)前記排出ポートと流体的に連絡して結合された排出通路と、(c)前記取入通路と前記排出通路の間に配置されたポンプ室とを備え、
(ii)エラストマー膜は、前記流体経路上に延びて、ポンプ室内に変位された時ポンプ室から流体を押し出すように構成され、前記エラストマー膜が、その周縁の周囲および近傍に延びる実質上T字型のリップを備え、前記T字型のリップが、前記エラストマー膜のほぼ平坦な表面から前記T字型のリップの遠位の先端に向かって前記T字型のリップが延びている所から延びる傾斜表面を有し、前記方法がさらに、
(B)締まりばめされているT字型リップの異なる遠位の先端を受けるような形状およびサイズにされた傾斜表面を備える溝を備えるそれぞれベースおよび表面部材を提供するステップと、
(C)前記エラストマー膜の前記T字型リップの遠位の先端を、前記ベースおよび前記表面部材のうちの一方に形成された溝の中で位置決めするステップと、
(D)前記ベースおよび前記表面部材のうちの他方に形成された溝を前記T字リップの反対側の遠位の先端上に着座させるステップと、
(E)前記T字型リップが、前記ベースおよび前記表面部材内に形成された溝内に着座するまで前記ベースおよび前記表面部材を互いに向かって押圧し、前記溝および前記T字型リップの傾斜表面の間の締まりばめが、先行荷重の引張力下で、前記エラストマー膜を引き出すステップと、
(F)前記エラストマー膜が前記ベースおよび前記表面部材の間の先行荷重の引張力下で捕捉されるように、前記ベースおよび前記表面部材を、ステップ(E)によって達成された状態で互いに接合するステップとを含み、先行荷重の引張力が、前記エラストマー膜が前記ポンプ室内に変位された時に生じる前記エラストマー膜のいかなる非弾性伸張も補償し、それによって、前記カセットによって注入される流体の所望の体積を達成することで誤差を減少させる方法。 - 前記ベースおよび前記表面部材を接合するステップが、前記表面部材を前記ベースに超音波接着するステップを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記T字型リップを提供するステップが、前記リップを前記エラストマー膜の周縁の周囲に成形するステップを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記リップによって囲まれた前記エラストマー膜の領域が、前記ベースと前記表面部材の両方に形成された溝によって囲まれた領域よりも小さい、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 接合ステップが、前記表面部材を前記ベースに熱的に接合するステップを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 接合ステップが、前記表面部材を前記ベースに粘着させて接合するステップを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
