Description
Claims (18)
- 焦点ボリュームの中の顕微鏡試料に生成された非線形コヒーレント場を検出するシステムであって、
第1の周波数の第1の偏光電磁場を生成する第1のソースと、
前記第1の周波数と異なる第2の周波数で第2の偏光電磁場を生成する第2のソースと、
第1の偏光電磁場と第2の偏光電磁場とを、偏光角の差φがゼロでないように共線的に合成し、合成された電磁場を前記焦点ボリュームに向ける光学系と、
偏光フィルタを含み、前記焦点ボリュームにおける前記第1及び第2の偏光電磁場に応答して生成された非線形コヒーレント場を検出する偏光感応検出器と、
を含むシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記非線形コヒーレント場は、共鳴部分と非共鳴部分とを含み、
前記非共鳴部分は、第3偏光角に沿って偏光され、
前記偏光感応検出器は、前記第3偏光角にほぼ垂直な方向に偏光させた放射場を検出する
システム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記角度φは約71度に等しいシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記第1のソースは4分の1波長板を含むシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記第1のソースは2分の1波長板を含むシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記第1のソースは偏光フィルタを含むシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記第2のソースは偏光フィルタを含むシステム。 - 前記第1のソースおよび第2のソースは、それぞれ偏光フィルタを含むシステム。
- 焦点ボリュームの中の試料からのコヒーレントアンチストークスラマン散乱信号を検出するシステムであって、
ポンプ周波数のポンプ場を生成するポンプソースと、
前記ポンプ周波数とは異なるストークス周波数のストークス場を生成するストークスソースと、
前記ポンプ場を偏光させて偏光ポンプ場を生成するポンプ偏光光学系と、
前記ストークス場を偏光させて偏光ストークス場を生成するストークス偏光光学系と、
前記偏光ポンプ場と前記偏光ストークス場の偏光方向の角度がゼロでないように調節する調節光学系と、
前記偏光ポンプ場と前記偏光ストークス場とを共線的に合成し、合成された電磁場を前記焦点ボリュームに向ける光学系と、
偏光フィルタを含み、前記焦点ボリュームにおける前記偏光ポンプ場と前記偏光ストークス場とに応答して生成された非線形コヒーレント場を検出する偏光感応検出器と、
を含むシステム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記調節光学系は4分の1波長板を含むシステム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記調節光学系は2分の1波長板を含むシステム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記偏光感応検出器は偏光フィルタを含むシステム。 - 請求項12に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記偏光フィルタは、前記焦点ボリュームにおける前記偏光ポンプ場と前記偏光ストークス場との相互作用によって生成された非共鳴信号の偏光角に垂直な角度に位置決めされているシステム。 - 請求項9に記載のシステムにおいて、
前記調節光学系は、前記偏光ポンプ場と前記偏光ストークス場との偏光方向の角度関係を約70度に調節するシステム。 - 請求項1〜14のいずれか1つに記載のシステムにおいて、
前記合成された電磁場を前記焦点ボリュームに向ける光学系は、開口数1.2の集束レンズを含むシステム。 - 焦点ボリュームの中の顕微鏡試料に生成された非線形コヒーレント場を検出する方法であって、
第1の周波数の第1の電磁場を生成するステップと、
前記第1の周波数と異なる第2の周波数の第2の電磁場を生成するステップと、
前記第1の電磁場を偏光させるステップと、
前記第2の電磁場を偏光させるステップと、
前記偏光第1電磁場と前記偏光第2電磁場の偏光方向の角度がゼロでないように調節するステップと、
前記偏光第1電磁場と前記偏光第2電磁場とを共線的に合成するステップと、
合成された前記第1の偏光電磁場と前記偏光第2電磁場とを前記焦点ボリュームに向けるステップと、
前記焦点ボリュームにおける前記第1の偏光電磁場及び前記第2偏光電磁場に応答して生成された非線形コヒーレント場を偏光フィルタを含む偏光感応検出器で、検出するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 請求項16に記載の方法において、
前記非線形コヒーレント場を検出するステップは、前記焦点ボリュームにおける前記偏光第1電磁場と前記偏光第2電磁場との相互作用によって生成された前記非線形コヒーレント場の偏光フィルタリングを含む方法。 - 焦点ボリュームの中の試料からコヒーレントアンチストークスラマン散乱信号を検出する方法であって、
ポンプ周波数の偏光ポンプ場を生成するステップと、
前記ポンプ周波数と異なるストークス周波数の偏光ストークス場を生成するステップと、
前記ポンプ場と前記ストークス場を、該ストークス場とポンプ場との相対偏光角がゼロでないように共線的に合成するステップと、
前記ポンプ場とストークス場を、集束レンズを通過させ、前記焦点ボリュームに向けて順方向に向けるステップと、
前記試料ボリュームから生成されたコヒーレントアンチストークス場を偏光フィルタを含む偏光感応検出器で、検出するステップと、
を含む方法。
