Description
Claims (19)
- 少なくとも1つのマスタ光源と、光伝送装置と、光を燃焼室に収束させるための入射光学系とを有し、それ自体としては点火力のないマスタ光パルス(8)を周期的に放出する少なくとも1つのマスタ光源(1)が設けられ、前記光伝送装置(2,3,4,7)は少なくとも1つの増幅器(4)を含み、該増幅器は個々のまたは一群のマスタ光パルス(8)を選択して励起することができ、該マスタ光パルス(8)を燃料・空気−混合気の点火に十分なエネルギーレベル(9)に増幅することを特徴とする内燃機関とくに定置ガス機関の燃焼室内の燃料・空気−混合気に点火するための装置。
- マスタ光源(1)はレーザであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- レーザはダイオードポンプおよび/または受動Qスイッチおよび/または能動Qスイッチ―固体レーザであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。
- 固体レーザはYbレーザおよび/またはNdレーザ―であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- 固体レーザはCr4+可飽和吸収体を用いたNdレーザ―であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- マスタ光源(1)は1〜25 kHzの繰返し周波数で光パルスないしレーザパルス(8)を送出することを特徴とする請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- マスタ光源(1)は5 kHzの繰返し周波数で光パルスないしレーザパルス(8)を送出することを特徴とする請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- マスタ光源(1)はパルス持続時間1 ns〜500 nsの光パルスないしレーザパルスを送出することを特徴とする請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- マスタ光源(1)はパルス持続時間100 ns〜300 nsの光パルスないしレーザパルスを送出することを特徴とする請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 使用される光の波長は0.5μm〜20μmの範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 使用される光の波長は0.5μm〜5μmの範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 伝送装置の少なくとも1つの増幅器(4)は少なくとも1つの光増幅であるフレキシブルな光ファイバーを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 伝送装置の少なくとも1つの増幅器(4)は少なくとも1つの光増幅であるレーザ活性―モノリシックバー(15)および/またはレーザ活性―結晶板(15)を含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの増幅器(4)は光パルスないしレーザパルスのエネルギーレベルを0.5 mJ〜10 mJに増幅することを特徴とする請求項12または13のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの増幅器(4)は光パルスないしレーザパルスのエネルギーレベルを1 mJ〜5 mJに増幅することを特徴とする請求項12〜14のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 光増幅および/またはレーザ活性のフレキシブルな光ファイバ(12)において、該ファイバはコイル状に巻かれた1区間を有することを特徴とする請求項12、14、及び15のいずれかに記載の装置。
- 少なくとも1つの光増幅であるレーザ活性光導体(12)、レーザ活性モノリシックバー(15)およびレーザ活性結晶板(15)の少なくとも1つに作用する励起可能なポンピング光源(13)が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項12から16までのいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- ポンピング光源(13)は半導体レーザであることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の装置。
- 複数のシリンダ(5)用にそれぞれ単一の共通マスタ光源(1)が設けられ、光伝送装置(2,3,4,7)はマスタ光パルスのエネルギーレベルを選択的に励起可能な増幅器(4)にマスタ光(8)を配分するため1つまたは複数の分岐器(3)を有することを特徴とする請求項1から18までのいずれか1項に記載の多気筒内燃機関用装置。
