Description
Claims (6)
- 磁気記録媒体と摺接しながら磁気信号の検出を行う感磁素子として、反強磁性層と、この反強磁性層との間で働く交換結合磁界により所定の方向に磁化が固定された磁化固定層と、外部磁界に応じて磁化方向が変化する磁化自由層と、これら磁化固定層と磁化自由層との間を磁気的に隔離する非磁性層とが積層された構造を有するスピンバルブ膜を備えた磁気抵抗効果型磁気ヘッドにおいて、
上記非磁性層は、導電性を有する導電層と、上記磁化固定層と上記導電層の界面に形成される第1の界面層と、上記導電層と上記磁化自由層の界面に形成される第2の界面層とからなり、
上記導電層は、Au,Pt,Ni,Pd,Cr,CuPd,CuPt,CuNi又はCuCrからなり、
上記第1の界面層及び上記第2の界面層は、CuAu,CuPd,CuPt,CuRu,CuNi又はCuRhからなり、
上記磁化固定層及び上記磁化自由層は、NiFe又はCoNiFeからなることを特徴とする磁気抵抗効果型磁気ヘッド。 - 回転ドラムに搭載されてヘリカルスキャン方式により磁気テープと摺動しながら磁気信号の検出を行うことを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気抵抗効果型磁気ヘッド。
- 上記第1の界面層及び上記第2の界面層は、CuとAuとの組成比が3:7乃至7:3の範囲内で形成されるCuAuからなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の磁気抵抗効果型磁気ヘッド。
- 磁気テープを走行させるテープ走行手段と、
上記テープ走行手段により走行される磁気テープと摺接しながら磁気信号の検出を行う磁気抵抗効果型磁気ヘッドとを備え、
上記磁気抵抗効果型磁気ヘッドは、反強磁性層と、この反強磁性層との間で働く交換結合磁界により所定の方向に磁化が固定された磁化固定層と、外部磁界に応じて磁化方向が変化する磁化自由層と、これら磁化固定層と磁化自由層との間を磁気的に隔離する非磁性層とが積層された構造を有するスピンバルブ膜を有し、
上記非磁性層は、導電性を有する導電層と、上記磁化固定層と上記導電層の界面に形成される第1の界面層と、上記導電層と上記磁化自由層の界面に形成される第2の界面層とからなり、
上記導電層は、Au,Pt,Ni,Pd,Cr,CuPd,CuPt,CuNi又はCuCrからなり、
上記第1の界面層及び上記第2の界面層は、CuAu,CuPd,CuPt,CuRu,CuNi又はCuRhからなり、
上記磁化固定層及び上記磁化自由層は、NiFe又はCoNiFeからなることを特徴とする磁気テープ装置。 - 回転ドラムに搭載されてヘリカルスキャン方式により磁気テープと摺動しながら磁気信号の検出を行うことを特徴とする請求項4記載の磁気テープ装置。
- 上記第1の界面層及び上記第2の界面層は、CuとAuとの組成比が3:7乃至7:3の範囲内で形成されるCuAuからなることを特徴とする請求項4記載の磁気テープ装置。
