Claims (2)
- 気密容器と、前記気密容器の内面に形成された陽極と、前記陽極表面に形成され、かつ蛍光体を有する発光面と、前記気密容器内に張設され、かつ電圧が印加されるフィラメント状陰極と、を備えた蛍光表示管において、
前記フィラメント状陰極として、印加する電圧が同じ時に電子放出量が互いに異なる高輝度用フィラメント状陰極と、低輝度用フィラメント状陰極と、を備え、そして、
前記発光面の発光輝度を変更する際に、前記高輝度用フィラメント状陰極と前記低輝度用フィラメント状陰極とのうちいずれか一方に電圧を印加するとともに、印加する前記フィラメント状陰極を切替えることにより、前記フィラメント状陰極の電子放出量を変更する電子放出量変更手段を備えた
ことを特徴とする蛍光表示管。 - 気密容器と、前記気密容器の内面に形成された陽極と、前記陽極表面に形成され、かつ蛍光体を有する発光面と、前記気密容器内に張設され、かつ電圧が印加されるフィラメント状陰極と、を備えた蛍光表示管において、
前記フィラメント状陰極全てを、印加する電圧が同じときに電子放出量が等しくなるようにし、そして、
前記発光面の発光輝度を変更する際に、前記フィラメント状陰極に単位周期当たりの電圧を印加する時間の割合を変更することにより、前記フィラメント状陰極の電子放出量を変更する電子放出量変更手段を備えた
ことを特徴とする蛍光表示管。
