Claims (5)
- ハウジングと、電極の先端を当接させる凹状の一対の着座部と、当該着座部の中心に形成された開口部と、所定の反射特性を有する基準反射部材と、電極の先端面および基準反射部材に光線を照射するとともに電極および基準反射部材からの反射光を検出する光センサユニットと、当該光センサユニットで検出した反射光の反射光量に基づき電極の良否を判定する良否判定手段とを有するスポット溶接用電極の良否判定装置であって、上記光センサユニットは上記ハウジングの内部に固設され、上記基準反射部材は上記ハウジングの外部に設けられるとともに移動手段によって上記開口部に臨む第1位置と上記開口部から離れる第2位置との間で移動可能であることを特徴とする、スポット溶接用電極の良否判定装置。
- 上記基準反射部材は、上記ハウジングの長手方向に沿って摺動する摺動体に取付けられており、上記移動手段は、当該摺動体を摺動させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載のスポット溶接用電極の良否判定装置。
- 上記移動手段は、回動軸心を中心に回動可能な回動手段であるとともに、上記基準反射部材が上記回動手段の回動動作にともない上記着座部の形成された窪んだ領域に入り込み可能に構成されている、請求項1に記載のスポット溶接用電極の良否判定装置。
- 上記基準反射部材からの反射光量に基づく第1閾値と、上記電極からの反射光量に基づく電極の種類毎に固有の第2閾値があらかじめ設定されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のスポット溶接用電極の良否判定装置。
- 上記摺動体は、上記第1位置において上記着座部を覆う防塵カバーの形態である、請求項2に記載のスポット溶接用電極の良否判定装置。
