即ち、電気分解によって陰極室31では、水酸化物イオン、水素ガス、カルシウムイオン及び水酸化カルシウムを含有したpH値がアルカリ性のアルカリイオン水を生成し、陽極室32では、酸素ガス及び次亜塩素酸を含有したpH値が酸性の酸性電解水をそれぞれ生成する。

陽極反応:
H2O → 1/2O2+ 2H+ + 2e− ・・・(c)
2Cl− → Cl2+ 2e− ・・・(d)

即ち、電気分解によって陰極室42Dでは水酸化物イオン、水素ガス、カルシウムイオン及び水酸化カルシウムを含有したpH値がアルカリ性のアルカリイオン水を生成し、陽極室42Eでは酸素ガス及び次亜塩素酸を含有したpH値が酸性の酸性水をそれぞれ生成する。

Claims (4)
- 電解槽内に配設された陰極と陽極に電圧を印加することにより、電解水を生成する電解水生成装置であって、原水給水用の原水貯水タンクと、ポンプと止水弁から成る原水供給手段と、前記電解槽で生成された電解水を吐水させる吐水経路とを設け、電解水を生成させるための動作スイッチを有し、当該動作スイッチの作動により、原水供給手段の駆動と陰極と陽極への電圧印加の両方を行う制御手段を有する電解水生成装置において、前記原水貯水タンク内に、水道水や浄水などの飲用適な水以外の液体が注入されたことを検出する検出手段を設けると共に、当該検出手段により、飲用的な水以外の液体が注入されたことを検出した場合、陰極と陽極への電圧印加を停止させる制御手段を有することを特徴とする電解水生成装置。
- 前記検出手段により、飲用的な水以外の液体が注入されたことを検出した場合、原水供給手段の駆動を停止させる制御手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電解水生成装置。
- 陰極と陽極への電圧印加を行うための電源回路は、定電流制御方式であって、前記検出手段は、一定電流制御中に発生した陰極・陽極間電圧を監視し、陰極・陽極間電圧が所定値以下か否かを判定する制御手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の電解水生成装置。
- 前記検出手段は、陰極と陽極への電圧印加した際に流れる電流を監視し、陰極・陽極間に流れる電流が所定値以上か否かを判定する制御手段を有することを特徴とする請求項 1又は2記載の電解水生成装置。
