Description
図1に示すような血管閉塞具10を製造した。コイル20としては、白金からなり、線材23の線径が0.05mm、全体の長さが500mmのものを用いた。そして、この線材23を使用して、コイル径が0.33mm、コイル長が50mmとなるように、コイル20を形成した。
実施例1において、コア部材の線径を0.07mmとした以外は、実施例1と同様の条件で、実施例2の血管閉塞具を得た。
実施例1において、コア部材の線径を0.12mmとした以外は、実施例1と同様の条件で、実施例3の血管閉塞具を得た。
実施例1において、コア部材30を挿入せずに、別体の頭部を接合した以外は、実施例1と同様の条件で、比較例1の血管閉塞具を得た。

Claims (6)
- 血管の所定箇所に挿入し留置して血流を遮断するために用いるコイル形状の血管閉塞具において、
前記血管閉塞具の先端部にコア部材が挿入され、前記血管閉塞具と前記コア部材とが少なくとも一箇所で固着され、かつ、血管閉塞具を血管内に留置したときに、前記先端部が血管の内壁に押圧されて固定されるように、前記コア部材は、挿入される血管の内径よりも大きい径となるよう付形されており、
更に、前記血管閉塞具に挿入される前記コア部材の長さが、前記血管閉塞具の長さよりも短く、コア部材が挿入されていない本体部を有していることを特徴とする血管閉塞具。 - 前記コア部材の形状が、前記血管閉塞具の先端部から離れるほど縮径するテーパ形状をなすことを特徴とする請求項1記載の血管閉塞具。
- 前記コア部材の形状が、コイル形状をなすことを特徴とする請求項1記載の血管閉塞具。
- 前記血管閉塞具を形成する線材は、外周に配置された超弾性合金と、その中心部に配置されたX線不透過性材料とで構成されている請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の血管閉塞具。
- 前記血管閉塞具を形成する線材は超弾性合金であり、X線不透過性材料により被覆処理がされている請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の血管閉塞具。
- 前記請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載された血管閉塞具と、この血管閉塞具を収容し、カテーテルの基端部に接続されて、前記血管閉塞具をカテーテル内に導入する挿入ガイド管と、この挿入ガイド管に収容された血管閉塞具を押して前記カテーテル内に挿入するプッシャとを備え、前記血管閉塞具は、その先端部を、前記挿入ガイド管の前記カテーテルに接続される端部方向に向けた状態で、前記挿入ガイド管内に収容されていることを特徴とする血管閉塞具の挿入装置。
