BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a heat shield structure for a fuel tank for a scooter type vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Scooter type vehicles include a relatively large vehicle equipped with a water-cooled engine, an engine cooling radiator, and a large-capacity fuel tank. In such a scooter type vehicle, in order to increase the cooling efficiency of the radiator, a layout in which the radiator is arranged at the front part of the vehicle body and the engine is arranged behind the radiator is widely adopted. Furthermore, a large fuel tank may be disposed close to a radiator or an engine due to the arrangement space. In such an arrangement relationship, the fuel tank is affected by heat from the radiator and the engine, and thus countermeasures are required. As a technique for preventing the influence of heat from an engine or a radiator, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-229593 “Scooter type motorcycle” (hereinafter referred to as “conventional technique”) is known.
[0003]
In the prior art, as shown in FIG. 2 of the publication, a radiator 26 (the number is cited in the publication, the same applies hereinafter) is arranged at the front part of the vehicle body, and the
Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4 of the above publication, the above-mentioned conventional technique covers a fuel tank 30 from above with a cylindrical fuel tank cover 40 whose upper surface is closed. In this state, the fuel tank 30 is attached to the body frame. It is to attach. By doing so, the fuel tank cover 40 can prevent the thermal effect exerted on the fuel tank 30 from the
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional fuel tank cover 40 is a large member because it covers the fuel tank 30. In order to integrally mold such a large cover, a large molding die is required, which increases the manufacturing cost. Moreover, it is not always easy to manufacture the fuel tank cover 40 having a complicated shape that matches the shape of the fuel tank 30.
[0005]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of easily and inexpensively manufacturing a heat shield plate for a fuel tank.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a scooter type vehicle having a low floor type floor, wherein a radiator is disposed at a front portion of the floor, an engine is disposed at a rear portion of the floor, and a fuel is disposed between the radiator and the engine. A tank is disposed, and divided heat shield plates are disposed at least on the front and rear surfaces of the fuel tank.
[0007]
A heat shield for preventing heat from the engine and radiator was divided into at least the front and rear surfaces of the fuel tank. Since it is a divided heat shield plate, it can take into account the degree of thermal influence from the engine and radiator, and can be arbitrarily and minimally adapted to the shape of each surface of the fuel tank. As a result, each heat shield is relatively small and is very easy to manufacture. In addition, the molding die can be small and the material can be small, so that it can be manufactured at low cost. Furthermore, since the heat shield plates are divided, each heat shield plate can be freely attached to the vehicle body after the fuel tank is attached to the vehicle body, and the attachment workability is good.
[0008]
Claim 2 of the fuel tankA hose connecting the radiator and the engine is arranged near the left and right surfaces,On the faceleftHeat shieldIt is arranged to insulate the heat of the hose, and the right heat shield on the right side is arranged to block the heat of the hoseIt is characterized by that.As a result, the heat of the hose can be prevented from reaching the fuel tank.
[0009]
Claim 3,Arranged on the left and right sidesLeft / RightThe heat shield is a rubber sheet.RuIt is characterized by that.
Since it is a rubber sheet, it can be freely deformed and can be freely arranged according to the space around the fuel tank. In addition, it can be easily arranged by effectively utilizing the narrow space around the fuel tank. Furthermore, since it is a heat shield made of a sheet, its shape is extremely simple and it can be manufactured at a lower cost.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the left and right heat shields are hooked to the vehicle body frame only at the upper part. As a result, the heat of the hose can be prevented from reaching the fuel tank.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, the left and right heat shields are respectively disposed between the left and right surfaces and the hose. As a result, the heat of the hose can be prevented from reaching the fuel tank.

【The invention's effect】
The present invention exhibits the following effects by the above configuration.
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the heat insulating plate for preventing the heat influence from the engine and the radiator is divided and disposed on at least the front and rear surfaces of the fuel tank, and the front heat insulating plate covering the front surface is disposed below the head pipe. It is placed between the down tube and the fuel tank that hangs down, with its upper end curved to the upper side of the radiator and its lower end extending to the bottom of the radiatorHardA rear heat shield that is a resin sheet and covers the rear surface is in close contact with the fuel tank, and is hung on the frame along the fuel tank surface facing the engine.Freely deformableSince it is made of rubber, it takes into account the degree of thermal influence from the engine and radiatorThe direction of the hot air can be changed by the front heat shield using a hard resin sheet (also serving as a wind guide) even if the degree of heat influence is high due to the hot air passing through the radiatorAndRubber sheet that can be freely deformedThe size can be kept arbitrarily and to the minimum according to the shape of each surface of the fuel tank. As a result, each heat shield can be made relatively small and can be manufactured very easily. In addition, since a molding die for each heat shield plate can be small and less material is required, each heat shield plate can be manufactured at low cost. Furthermore, since the heat shield plate is divided, it can be freely attached to the vehicle body after the fuel tank is attached to the vehicle body, and the attachment workability is good.
Further, since the front heat shield is disposed between the down tube and the fuel tank, the front heat shield can be easily attached to the down tube. Therefore, the mounting workability of the front heat shield is good.
[0060]
Claim 2 of the fuel tankA hose connecting the radiator and the engine is arranged near the left and right surfaces, the left heat shield is placed on the left to insulate the heat of the hose, and the right heat shield cuts off the heat of the hose on the right.
