Description
フィルタ媒体の形成に用いられる技術に固有の上記の欠点を考慮して、本発明は、ICエンジンエアフィルタに用いるように適合されたフィルタ媒体であって、3ミクロン〜12ミクロンの孔径を有する孔を画成するフィルタ媒体をメルトブローン製法を用いて形成する方法を提供する。本発明は、また、ICエンジンエアフィルタに用いられるように適合されたフィルタ媒体を提供する。
Claims (14)
- 内燃機関エンジンのエアフィルタに用いられるように適合された多孔質の濾過材をつくる方法であって、
熱可塑性ポリマーを加熱して溶融物を生成するステップと、
前記溶融物をダイヘッドの複数の開口部を通して押し出すステップと、
1以上の熱流体流を押し出し中の前記溶融物に向け、それにより、多数の繊維を形成し、かつ、前記繊維を、3次元プロフィールを含む面を有する収集手段に向けて吹き付けるステップであって、少なくとも1つのプロフィールが前記収集手段の前記面に取り外し可能に取り付けられ、前記少なくとも1つのプロフィールが少なくとも1つの褶曲部を有するステップと、
前記収集手段の前記面上で前記繊維を収集し、前記プロフィールを用いて前記繊維で、少なくとも1つの褶曲部を有する多孔質の濾過材を成形するステップと、
前記少なくとも1つのプロフィールを前記収集手段から取り外すステップと、
前記多孔質の濾過材を前記少なくとも1つのプロフィールから取り外すステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記多孔質の濾過材が、3ミクロン〜12ミクロンの孔径を有する複数の孔の輪郭を定める請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記収集手段の前記面が前記少なくとも1つのプロフィールの輪郭を定める請求項2に記載の方法。
- 内燃機関エアフィルタに用いられるように適合された熱可塑性ポリマー繊維材を製造するための方法であって、
熱可塑性ポリマーにメルトブローンを行ってメルトブローン繊維を形成するステップと、
前記メルトブローン繊維を、3次元プロフィールを含む面を有する収集手段上に収集するステップと、
前記3次元プロフィールを用いて前記メルトブローン繊維を、少なくとも1つの褶曲部と、3ミクロン〜12ミクロンの孔径を有する複数の孔と、の輪郭を定める熱可塑性ポリマー繊維材に成形するステップと、
前記熱可塑性ポリマー繊維材を前記収集手段から取り外すステップと、
を含み、
前記メルトブローンステップが、熱可塑性ポリマーを加熱して溶融物を生成するステップと、前記溶融物を、ダイヘッドの複数の開口部を通して押し出すステップと、1以上の熱流体流を押し出し中の前記溶融物に向け、それによりメルトブローン繊維を形成し、かつ前記メルトブローン繊維を前記収集手段に向けて吹き付けるステップと、を含み、
少なくとも1つのプロフィールが前記収集手段の前記面に着脱可能に取り付けられ、
前記少なくとも1つのプロフィールが少なくとも1つの褶曲部を有し、
前記取り外すステップが、前記少なくとも1つのプロフィールを前記面から取り外すステップ、及び前記少なくとも1つのプロフィールから前記熱可塑性ポリマー繊維材を取り外すステップを含む、方法。 - 前記収集手段の前記面が前記3次元プロフィールの輪郭を定め、前記前記3次元プロフィールが少なくとも1つの褶曲部を有する請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記収集手段が回転可能なドラムである請求項1又は4に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維を収集している間に前記回転可能なドラムを回転させるステップをさらに含む請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記収集手段がコンベヤである請求項1又は4に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維を収集している間に前記コンベヤを作動させるステップをさらに含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記熱流体が空気である請求項1又は4に記載の方法。
- 内燃機関エンジンのエアフィルタに用いられるように適合された多孔質の濾過材をつくるための装置であって、
熱可塑性ポリマーを加熱して溶融物を生成し、ダイヘッドの複数の開口部を通して前記溶融物を押し出す押出機(10)と、
1以上の熱流体流を押し出し中の前記溶融物に向け、それにより、多数の繊維を形成するエアマニホルド(13)と、
3次元プロフィール(24)を含む面(22、28)を有し、前記エアマニホルド(13)により吹き付けられる前記繊維を前記面上で収集し、前記プロフィール(24)を用いて前記繊維で少なくとも1つの褶曲部を有する多孔質の濾過材を成形する収集手段(20,26)と、
を備え、少なくとも1つのプロフィールが前記収集手段の前記面に取り外し可能に取り付けられ、前記少なくとも1つのプロフィールが少なくとも1つの褶曲部を有する装置。 - 前記収集手段が回転可能なドラム(20)である請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記収集手段がコンベヤ(26)である請求項11に記載の装置。
- 前記熱流体が空気である請求項11〜13のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
