Claims (17)
- 一群の害虫駆除装置であって、それぞれが、双方向通信ポート、1種または複数種の害虫の活動を検出する害虫感知回路、餌、前記群内の他の害虫駆除装置の識別子に対して固有な識別子を含む該害虫駆除装置と、
各害虫駆除装置の双方向通信ポートに接続された双方向通信経路と、
双方向通信経路に接続されたデータ収集装置とを備え、データ収集装置が、選択した害虫駆除装置の識別子の固有性に基づいて、双方向通信経路を介して前記選択した害虫駆除装置にアドレスを送信し、前記選択した害虫駆除装置の害虫感知回路の状態を受信するように動作可能であり、
該双方向通信経路が、該群の該害虫駆除装置の各々に電気的に接続された少なくとも1つの導電体を備える、システム。 - 前記双方向通信経路が、各害虫駆除装置の双方向通信ポートおよびデータ収集装置に接続された電気ノードを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記双方向通信経路が、各害虫駆除装置およびデータ通信装置に接続された1対の導体で形成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記データ収集装置が、マスタ/スレーブの関係で各害虫駆除装置と通信するようにプログラムされたコントローラを含み、該データ収集装置が、システムの状態を示す少なくとも1つの出力装置を含む、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記害虫駆除装置に電力を供給するために、各前記害虫駆除装置および前記データ収集装置に接続された少なくとも1つの電源ラインをさらに備える、請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 通信経路によって一群の害虫駆除装置に接続されたデータ収集装置を動作させるステップであって、該各害虫駆除装置が、通信ポート、害虫感知回路、および前記群内の他の害虫駆除装置のアドレスに対して固有なアドレスを含むステップと、
該害虫駆除装置の1つの該害虫感知回路でシロアリを感知するステップと、
該データ収集装置からの前記1つの害虫駆除装置のアドレスの送信に応答して、前記1つの害虫駆除装置から、前記感知ステップに対応する情報を受信するステップとを含み、
該通信経路が、該群の該害虫駆除装置の各々に電気的に接続された少なくとも1つの導電体を備える、方法。 - 前記受信ステップが、前記データ収集装置と前記害虫駆除装置の1つの間の通信経路を介して双方向に通信するステップを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記害虫感知回路が、基板上に、1種または複数種の害虫による消費または移動によって変化するように構成された導電ループを含み、前記感知ステップが、該ループが電気的に閉じた状態から、該ループが電気的に開いた状態への変化を判定するステップを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記群内の各害虫駆除装置に、前記データ通信経路を介して前記異なる害虫駆除装置のアドレスを送信することによって、前記異なる害虫駆除装置の1つに質問を行うステップを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- それぞれ双方向通信ポートおよび1種または複数種の害虫の活動を検出するための害虫感知回路を含む複数の害虫駆除装置を設置するステップと、
データ収集装置および該各害虫駆除装置の双方向通信ポートを双方向通信経路に結合するステップと、
該データ収集装置により双方向通信経路を介して該各害虫駆除装置に個々にアドレスを送信して、該各害虫駆除装置から害虫感知回路の情報を取得するステップとを含み、
該双方向通信経路が、該各害虫駆除装置に電気的に接続された少なくとも1つの導電体を備える、方法。 - 建築物内に前記データ収集装置を配置するステップを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記設置ステップが、前記害虫駆除装置を少なくとも部分的に地中に配置するステップを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1つの前記害虫駆除装置でシロアリを検出するステップと、前記検出ステップの後で、前記データ収集装置によって状態の変化を示すステップとを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記害虫感知回路が、基板上に、1種または複数種の害虫による消費または移動によって変化するように構成された導電ループを含み、前記検出ステップが、該ループが電気的に閉じた状態から、該ループが電気的に開いた状態への変化を判定するステップを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記結合ステップが、前記データ収集装置および前記害虫駆除装置を1対の導体に接続するステップを含み、前記導体の一方により電気的なノードが得られ、前記導体の他方により電気的な接地が得られる、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記各害虫駆除装置が餌を含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記各害虫駆除装置が餌を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
