Claims (3)
- 両端部に軸端側からジャーナル、ちりよけ座、輪座を順に形成して、該輪座に車輪を嵌合した車軸を複列円錐ころ軸受を介して軸箱に支承する鉄道車両の車軸支持機構であって、
前記ジャーナルに外嵌された前記複列円錐ころ軸受の内輪の軸端側及び反軸端側を、前記ジャーナルの軸端側に固定した軸受押さえ及び前記ちりよけ座に固定した油切りとにより位置決めし、
前記軸箱に内嵌された前記複列円錐ころ軸受の外輪の軸端側及び反軸端側を、前記軸箱の前記軸端側に形成された鍔部及び前記軸箱のちりよけ座側端部に固定した後蓋の軸受押さえ部とにより位置決めし、
前記後蓋と前記油切りとの間にラビリンスシールを形成し、
前記後蓋の内周面に嵌合させたオイルシールのリップ部を前記油切りの外周面に摺接し、
前記軸箱の軸端部を前蓋で塞ぐとともに、前記軸箱の下部内面に軸受潤滑油の油溜めを凹設し、
前記複列円錐ころ軸受の回転時に前記油溜めから前記複列円錐ころ軸受の転動体を油浴して前記油溜めに循環する潤滑油の流路を、前記複列円錐ころ軸受と前記前蓋との間に画成される前蓋側環状流路部と、
前記鍔部の下部に形成した、前記前蓋側環状流路部と前記油溜めとを連通する凹溝状の前蓋側流路部と、
前記複列円錐ころ軸受と前記オイルシールとの間に画成される後蓋側環状流路部と、
前記軸箱の後蓋側の下部に形成した、前記後蓋側環状流路部と前記油溜めとを連通する凹溝状の後蓋側流路部と、
前記後蓋の軸受押さえ部の下部を切り欠いて形成した、前記後蓋側環状流路部と前記後蓋側流路部とを連通する切り欠き流路部と、
構成した車軸支持機構を有する鉄道車両において、
前記車軸に中空車軸を用い、
前記後蓋側流路部を、前記軸箱の後蓋側の下部中央の第1後蓋側流路部と、該第1後蓋側流路部を挟んで形成される第2後蓋側流路部及び第3後蓋側流路部との3流路で構成し、
前記後蓋に、前記軸箱の後蓋用フランジ部に該後蓋をボルトにて取り付けるフランジ部と、該フランジ部の反軸端側で前記ラビリンスシールを形成する蓋部とを形成し、該フランジ部の内周と前記油切りの中径部との間に前記オイルシールの嵌合部を形成し、該嵌合部に嵌合された前記オイルシールのリップ部を前記中径部に摺接せしめ、
前記後蓋側環状流路部を、前記軸受押さえ部と前記油切りの小径部との間に形成し、
前記軸受押さえ部の下部に、前記第1後蓋側流路部に対応する第1切り欠き流路部を中央部分に切り欠き形成するとともに、該第1切り欠き流路部を挟んで、前記第2後蓋側流路部に対応する第2切り欠き流路部及び前記第3後蓋側流路部に対応する第3切り欠き流路部を切り欠き形成した、
ことを特徴とする鉄道車両。 - 前記中空車軸のちりよけ座と輪座との間に中径軸部を形成し、前記油切りの中径部を、前記ちりよけ座の中間部分から前記中径軸部の外周に亘って設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の鉄道車両。
- 前記前蓋側環状流路部と前記後蓋側環状流路部との容積比を、1:0.7から1:1.3に形成したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の鉄道車両。
