BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a drainage structure for a roof side weather strip in a non-fixed roof vehicle, and in particular, a roof panel (metal roof) can be folded in a folded state together with a rear window frame and stored in a trunk room (luggage room or luggage compartment). The present invention relates to a drainage structure for a roof side weatherstrip that is mounted on the roof side of a so-called convertible type open car.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A drainage structure of this type of roof side weather strip is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-343955. In this conventional technique, as a peculiarity of the non-fixed roof vehicle, as shown in FIG. 8, the front side end portion of the roof

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In such a conventional structure, a drainage passage for guiding the water W that has entered the vehicle interior to the outside is secured and a corresponding effect can be expected. However, in many cases, the roof lining is carried out inside the
[0005]
The present invention has been made paying attention to such problems, and in particular intends to provide a structure capable of preventing the trim parts from getting wet while maintaining a drainage function equivalent to that of the prior art. is there.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, a hollow seal lip that elastically contacts the door glass and a seal lip projecting toward the vehicle interior side are provided on a roof side portion of a non-fixed roof panel that is movable or detachable. This is a structure in which a hollow roof side weather strip with a cover lip is attached, and when the roof panel is closed, at least the front end portion of the roof side weather strip is abutted against the mating weather strip. In the roof side weather strip, a water receiving lip is formed on the inner side of the cover lip so as to project into a bifurcated shape in the form of a double lip from the base of the cover lip and function as a drainage channel. The front and rear ends of the drainage channel space formed with the water receiving lip should be at the water blocking wall. Stopped, the drain hole for guiding the water collected in the water receiving lip in the hollow portion of the seal lip is formed in the inner root portion of the water receiving lip, further, the terminal of the roof trim to the inner root part of the cover lip By receiving, the cover lip is characterized by concealing the end of the roof trim .
In this case, in order to positively guide the water that has entered the inside of the front end portion into the drainage channel space formed with the water receiving lip, the roof side as described in
[0007]
At the same time, as described in
[0008]
Also, when the cover lip is formed over substantially the entire length of the roof side weather strip is water receiving lip may also be formed over substantially the entire length of the roof side weather strip, but water as described in
[0009]
Further, since the water receiving lip is intended to receive water flowing from top to bottom, as claimed in
[0011]
Therefore, in the inventions of the first to fifth aspects, since the water receiving lip is set separately from the cover lip, the function is divided for each lip, and the roof side weather strip goes around to the vehicle interior side. Water is collected and drained by a water receiving lip that will function exclusively as a drainage channel, while the cover lip conceals the roof trim end even if a roof trim end is inserted inside the cover lip. The function will be demonstrated. Therefore, it is not that the terminal of the conventional way roof trim is proximate to or in contact with water drainage, it is no longer would wet the roof trim.
Moreover, since both the front and rear end portions of the drainage channel space formed with the water receiving lip are blocked by the water blocking wall portion, it is possible to prevent water leakage from both ends in the longitudinal direction of the drainage channel space. The water in the space can be reliably guided to the drain hole.
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
According to the invention described in
[0013]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the guide groove facing the drainage channel space formed with the water receiving lip is formed in the portion of the roof side weather strip facing the water receiving lip. The water that has entered the inside of the end portion on the front side of the roof side weatherstrip can also be actively guided and drained into the drainage channel space formed with the water receiving lip.
[0014]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, the water collected by the water receiving lip is led into the hollow portion of the seal lip on the roof side weather strip side and is then brought into contact with the mating weather as in the conventional case. Since the water is drained through the hollow portion of the strip, the reliability of the waste water treatment is increased.
