従来、始動口の入賞を基に変動表示装置の図柄の変動表示を行い、当たり図柄が出ると特別の入賞領域の扉を開いて、このとき遊技球が特別の入賞領域に入賞すると、あるいは始動口の入賞を基に所定の領域の扉を開き、遊技球がその領域内の特定部位に入賞すると変動表示装置の図柄の変動表示を行い、当たり図柄が出るとその入賞球を特別の入賞領域に導いて、特別権利状態を発生させ、この権利発生状態中に、遊技球が特定入賞口に入賞する毎に変動入賞装置を遊技者にとって有利な開状態に変換するようにした弾球遊技機(第3種パチンコ遊技機)がある。

この種の遊技機は、権利発生状態となっている場合に、遊技球が特定入賞口に連続して入賞してしまうと、その分変動入賞装置の開期間が短くなって、十分な獲得球を得られなくなる恐れがあるため、特定入賞口への遊技球の入賞間隔を設定する始動入賞装置を設けており、この始動入賞装置は、円周の一部位に球受部を設けた回転体を備え、始動入賞装置の入口より球受部に受け入れた遊技球を回転体の回転動作によって特定入賞口へ搬送、導出するようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、このような始動入賞装置は、回転体の径が大きく、装置が大きくなっている。そのため、遊技盤への設置スペースが大きく、したがって周りの遊技領域を狭めることになり、遊技球の流れ、転動に影響するため、配置が難しい。

第1の発明は、遊技領域に特定入賞口への遊技球の入賞間隔を設定する始動入賞装置を配設し、遊技状態が権利発生状態となっている場合に、遊技球が特定入賞口に入賞する毎に変動入賞装置を遊技者にとって有利な状態に変換するようにした遊技機において、前記始動入賞装置は、 電気的駆動源により回転動作するように構成されて、遊技球を受け入れるとともに該受け入れた遊技球を回転動作により特定入賞口へ導出する回転体と、前記回転体を囲うガイド枠と、を備え、前記回転体は、裏面中心に回転軸が突設されたベース盤と、前記ベース盤の前面に円弧状に立設すると共に切り欠き部を設けた球受壁と、を備えるとともに、回転中心が遊技領域の前方に向けて配置されて構成され、前記ガイド枠の上端部と前記球受壁の外周部とにより、前記始動入賞装置の入口に遊技球を保持する球保持部を形成する一方、前記球受壁の内周部に球受部を形成して、前記回転体の回転動作により前記球保持部からの遊技球を前記切り欠き部を介して前記球受部に受け入れるとともに該受け入れた遊技球を該回転動作により前記切り欠き部を介して前記特定入賞口へ導出するように構成し、前記球受部を、遊技球1個を受け入れる大きさに、かつ前記回転体の回転中心が貫く位置に形成し、前記ガイド枠は、遊技領域の前方より回転体の球受部の遊技球を視認可能に構成されるとともに、前記球受壁の立設先端部位を覆うつば部を設け、前記電気的駆動源による回転体の回転速度を変更することによって、特定入賞口への遊技球の入賞間隔を変更制御可能な入賞間隔変更制御手段を備える。
