Description
The present invention relates to a chemical having a fragrance as well as controlling unpleasant pests such as mites that live indoors without using chemical components.
Conventionally, there are many known drugs for repelling unpleasant insects such as mites that live in the house and adversely affect the human body, such as asthma, and for insect control purposes. As the composition, a composition using a chemical has been generally used conventionally, but even if the chemical has an effect of controlling unpleasant pests, it may adversely affect the human body itself. Not very good. For example, “chlorpyrifos”, which has been widely used as a termite control agent, has been totally banned under the Building Standards Law since July 2003. In view of this, the influence of chemicals on the human body has become a social problem. Recently, more environmentally friendly drugs with natural products as the main composition have been developed.
Among the above conventional techniques, the invention described in Patent Document 1 has a composition in which tannic acid is mixed with either cypress oil or eucalyptus oil or with one of them. In the invention described in Patent Document 2, an arbitrary natural oil is selected from a large number of natural oils and is contained in a porous carrier. Furthermore, the invention described in Patent Document 3 is a composition in which a natural fragrance is blended with a synthetic fragrance to form an aroma deodorant.
In these prior arts, cypress oil and eucalyptus oil are disclosed, but there is no disclosure about what is effective when both cypress oil and eucalyptus oil are used, and what is effective. In each invention, there is no recognition that it is a specific mixture. In addition, the disclosure of the invention in Patent Document 1 uses ethyl alcohol as a solvent, and the blind test is not disclosed although ethyl alcohol itself has a sterilizing effect.
In this invention, the medicine aiming at the control of the unpleasant pest which made cypress oil and eucalyptus oil into necessary and sufficient mixing object agent and made this into the form of the agent which can be used stably is disclosed. Specifically, the drug of the present invention is mainly composed of hinoki essential oil and eucalyptus oil, and a surfactant for food additives, a defoaming agent for food additives, and alcohols are blended in this, and mixed stably in water. . Here, cypress essential oil and eucalyptus oil function as active ingredients for repelling the objectionable pests. A surfactant for adding food and an antifoaming agent are added to emulsify these oil components. Alcohols function as solvents for the two oil components.
About the compounding ratio of cypress oil and eucalyptus oil, each was 0.05 weight% or more with respect to the whole chemical | medical agent, and made the total into the range of 0.1 weight%-10 weight%. More preferably, cypress oil and eucalyptus oil were blended equally in the above range. The reason why 0.05% by weight is set as the lower limit is that, from the results of the experiment, if the blending was lower than that, the expected repellent effect could not be sufficiently exhibited. The upper limit is set to 10% by weight because not only the repellent efficiency is not greatly improved even if it is mixed more than this, but also the product cost becomes so high that it is not suitable for mass sales. The activities of cypress oil and eucalyptus oil under a single atmosphere are known. The reason why the coating amount of relative cotton cloth and 20 to 50 g / m 2 are that repellency valid unpleasant pest is less than 20 g / m 2 is low, it exceeds 50 g / m 2 This is because not only a dramatic repellent effect can be expected compared with a coating amount less than that, but also the cost is increased.
In the present invention, since all the additives used are recognized as natural products or foods, and this is developed as an emulsion in water, it is not harmful to the human body and becomes a non-flammable drug. It is also very safe for use inside.
When the agent of the present invention was used, a very high tick repellent rate was shown as shown in the examples. Therefore, it functions as a drug for effectively repelling unpleasant pests, and at the same time, since all the ingredients are natural ingredients or ingredients for food addition, it can be made an effective drug without adverse effects on the human body. In addition, when this chemical is applied to cotton cloth, the cotton cloth itself can be used as a control cloth, so that it can be effectively used for futon fabrics and clothing that tend to inhabit mites.
LTD. Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described. First, when confirming the effect according to the formulation of the present invention, cypress essential oil for insect repellent action is manufactured by Owase Port Service Co., Ltd., and eucalyptus oil for insect repellent and antibacterial action is GRDAVIS PTY. LTD. Using Eucalyptus oil 90/95% cineole BP, L-7D from Mitsubishi Foods Co., Ltd. as a surfactant for food additives, and Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd. as a defoamer for food additives. A silicon-based KM72F was used, and a glycerin reagent manufactured by Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd. was used as the alcohol, which was developed into chlorinated fresh water.
As a result of using a polyglyceride system as a surfactant for the purpose of emulsion, a stable liquid in which oil and water are not separated was obtained. The addition amount is effective in the range of 0.5 to 20 parts by weight with respect to 1 part by weight of the oil component, but if it is small, the stability is lowered, and if it is large, it takes time to dissolve the surfactant. Therefore, it is preferably 3 to 10 parts by weight. As an antifoaming agent, any antifoaming agent used in paints can be used. However, in consideration of safety to the human body, a silicon system used for food is adopted. The added amount is suitably 0.01 to 0.5% by weight in the emulsion. The solvent is not particularly limited as long as it is an alcohol, but ethyl alcohol and methyl alcohol have a low flash point and are dangerous when used. Therefore, glycerin having a low risk grade was used in this example. In addition, if it is similar to glycerin, it is applicable.

The outline is that a test specimen is laid on a glass petri dish having a diameter of 4 cm, and 50 mg of an attracting bait (a mixture of powdered experimental animal feed and dry yeast in a ratio of 1: 1) is added to the center, and then a diameter of 9 cm. Installed in the center of the glass petri dish. Next, a mite culture medium containing 10,000 mites in a portion satisfying the conditions of the outer periphery of the 4 cm glass petri dish and the inside of the 9 cm glass petri dish was uniformly tested. It was placed in a plastic container for food preservation containing saturated saline, covered, and allowed to stand at 25 ° C. under all dark conditions. After 24 hours, mites that entered the 4 cm glass petri dish were measured, and the repelling rate was calculated according to the following formula. The test was repeated 5 times. When the average number of mites invading the control group was less than 1000, the test was re-tested.
Repelling rate (%) = (number of invading mites in control group−number of invading mites in test group) / number of invading mites in control group × 100
First, Table 3 shows the results of measuring the density of the test mite medium.
