Description
【0001】
NM=NE ・・・(2)
TE×t=(TLOAD/i+TM) ・・・(5)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle charging control device, and more particularly to improvement of charging efficiency.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, different types of power sources, specifically engines and motor generators, have been used to save fuel for driving the engine, reduce noise due to engine rotation, and reduce exhaust gas generated by fuel combustion. Onboard vehicles have been proposed.
[0003]
For example, in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-209790, an engine is connected to an input shaft of a transmission and a motor generator is connected, and the engine and the motor generator are controlled based on vehicle speed, accelerator opening, or battery charge amount. Techniques to do this are disclosed. Specifically, the engine torque is input to the motor generator to cause the motor generator to function as a generator to charge the battery, and at the time of vehicle deceleration, regeneration is performed using the torque input from the wheels to the motor generator via the transmission. For example, braking is performed, or the motor generator is functioned as a motor, and torque is assisted by inputting the torque to the transmission.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Thus, in a hybrid vehicle, for example, when the SOC (charged state) of the in-vehicle battery decreases, the engine torque is supplied to the motor generator, and the motor generator functions as a generator to generate power to charge the in-vehicle battery. However, when the engine is simply started to generate power, for example, when the engine torque is supplied to the motor generator via the torque converter, a part of the engine torque is consumed by the torque converter, and the on-board battery is efficiently Cannot be charged, or even if the lockup clutch of the torque converter is engaged, there is a problem that the power generation efficiency is lowered depending on the output of the engine.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the prior art. The purpose of the present invention is to control an engine, a torque converter, and a motor generator so that an in-vehicle battery is highly efficient even when the in-vehicle battery needs to be charged. An object of the present invention is to provide a control device that can be charged.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a first aspect of the invention is to charge a vehicle in which engine torque is transmitted to a transmission via a torque converter, and a motor generator is connected between the torque converter and the transmission. A control device, Detection means for detecting that the vehicle is stopped and the transmission is in a forward position or a reverse position; and the vehicle is stopped by the detection means and the transmission is in the forward position or When it is detected that the vehicle is in the reverse drive position, when generating electric power by supplying at least a part of the torque of the engine to the motor generator via the torque converter, the forward clutch or the reverse clutch of the transmission is Clutch control means to release and It is characterized by having.
[0007]
A second aspect of the invention is a vehicle charge control device in which engine torque is transmitted to a transmission via a torque converter, and a motor generator is connected between the torque converter and the transmission, Detection means for detecting that the vehicle is stopped and the transmission is in a forward position or a reverse position; and the vehicle is stopped by the detection means and the transmission is in the forward position or When it is detected that the vehicle is in the reverse drive position, at least a part of the torque of the engine is supplied to the motor generator via the torque converter, and a forward or reverse clutch engagement command is issued during power generation. If there is, the forward clutch or the reverse clutch is engaged after the power generation by the motor generator is finished. It is characterized by that.
[0008]
In addition, the third invention, In the second invention, at least a part of the torque of the engine is supplied to the motor generator via the torque converter while the vehicle is stopped, and an engagement command for a forward clutch or a reverse clutch of the transmission is issued during power generation. Even when there is an accelerator on signal, power generation by the motor generator is continued and the forward clutch or the reverse clutch is maintained in a non-engaged state. It is characterized by that.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0013]
<First Embodiment>
FIG. 1 shows a configuration block diagram of a hybrid vehicle in the present embodiment. The output shaft of the engine 1 is connected to a torque converter T / C2 having a lock-up clutch, and the output shaft of the torque converter T / C2 is connected to a motor generator M / G3. The output shaft of motor generator M / G3 is connected to automatic transmission A / T4. A
[0014]
The basic operation of the engine 1 and the motor generator M / G3 in the present embodiment is the same as the conventional operation, and when the vehicle starts or runs at low speed, the motor generator M / G3 functions as a motor and travels with the output of the motor generator M / G3. During normal travel, the engine 1 is started and travels by engine output, and during high load, the motor generator M / G3 is operated as a motor in addition to the engine 1 to travel by both power sources. Further, at the time of vehicle deceleration or braking, the motor generator M / G3 functions as a generator to regenerate electric power. Further, when the SOC of the

The torque converter T / C2 is configured to transmit the torque of the driving member to the driven member by a fluid. The

On the other hand, if NO in S104, that is, if the vehicle is traveling, the maximum efficiency operating point in this state is calculated without performing clutch release control or hill hold control (S109). This maximum efficiency operation point calculation will also be described in detail later.
[0030]
After calculating the operating point at which the maximum efficiency is obtained in S108 or S109, the
[0031]
FIG. 4 shows a detailed flowchart of the maximum efficiency operating point calculation I in S108. First, the
[0032]
FIG. 5 shows the motor efficiency ηM when the motor rotation speed NM is taken on the horizontal axis and the motor torque TM is taken on the vertical axis. The motor efficiency ηM increases as the rotational speed NM and the torque TM increase, and becomes maximum within a certain range of the rotational speed NM and the torque TM.
[0033]
Next, the
[0034]
FIG. 6 shows the engine efficiency ηE when the horizontal axis represents the engine speed NE and the vertical axis represents the engine torque TE. As the rotational speed NE and the torque TE increase, the efficiency ηE increases and becomes maximum within a certain range, and when the rotational speed NE and the torque TE further increase, the efficiency ηE decreases.
[0035]
After storing the two-dimensional map of the motor torque TM and the engine torque TE, the highest efficiency point is determined based on the stored two-dimensional map (S204). Specifically, the torque converter T / C2 searches for the highest point of ηE × ηM on the premise of lockup on since the power generation efficiency is highest in the lockup on state. However, to turn on lockup,
[Expression 1]
TM + ΔTE = TE (1)
[Expression 2]
NM = NE (2)
Therefore, the engine speed NE, the engine torque TE, the motor speed NM, and the motor torque TM at which ηE × ηM is highest under these conditions are obtained from the two-dimensional map. Note that ΔTE is a torque required for the engine 1 itself to turn idling. Since it is necessary to satisfy the expressions (1) and (2), the maximum operating point (motor torque, motor speed, engine torque, engine speed) obtained is the motor torque at which the maximum efficiency is obtained in the two-dimensional map of motor efficiency. It should be noted that TM ′ and motor speed NM ′ are different from engine torque TE ′ and engine speed NE ′ that provide the highest efficiency in the two-dimensional map of engine efficiency.
[0036]
On the other hand, FIG. 7 shows a detailed flowchart of the maximum efficiency operation point calculation II in S109. The difference from the maximum efficiency operating point calculation I in S108 is that the motor generator M / G3 is traveling with being connected to the wheels via the transmission A / T4 (the shift lever is in the forward / reverse position, and the vehicle speed is 0). However, the rotational speed of the motor generator M / G3 cannot be freely controlled.
[0037]
In the figure, the
[0038]
Next, the torque ratio Tc of the torque converter T / C2 is stored as a map of the speed ratio e and the converter efficiency ηt (S305). FIG. 8 shows the torque ratio tc when the horizontal axis represents the speed ratio e and the vertical axis represents the converter efficiency ηt. Note that the speed ratio e = NM / NE. Here, the change in efficiency ηt when the speed ratio e is changed is also stored.
[0039]
[0040]
After storing the motor torque TM, the converter torque ratio tc, and the engine torque TE, the
[Equation 3]
Efficiency η = (travel energy + charge energy) / engine output (3)
Because is the largest time
[Expression 4]
TM and ηc (lock-up slip ratio) may be determined such that the maximum value is. In the above equation, TLOAD, No, NM, i are not selectable amounts, but are amounts determined from the vehicle running conditions. Also, torque relational expression
[Equation 5]
TE × t = (TLOAD / i + TM) (5)
Thus, if TM is determined, TE is also determined. Eventually, TM, ηc, and TE necessary for generating power with maximum efficiency are determined.
[0041]
On the other hand, if YES in S302, that is, if lock-up off is forced, the maximum efficiency point is determined as follows. That is, first, the travel load TLOAD is calculated from the vehicle speed and the throttle opening (S308), and the motor torque TM is stored as a two-dimensional map parameter of the motor speed NM and the motor efficiency ηM (S309). Then, the torque ratio tc of the torque converter T / C2 is stored as a two-dimensional map parameter of the speed ratio e and the converter efficiency ηt (S310). Here, the speed ratio e = NM / NE. Further, similarly to S306, the engine torque TE is stored as a two-dimensional map parameter of the engine speed NE and the engine efficiency ηE (S311).
[0042]
Based on these, the maximum efficiency point is determined. Since the lock-up clutch of the torque converter T / C2 can only be controlled to be off, a TM that maximizes the efficiency under the condition of a constant lock-up slip ratio is selected. Further, the TE at that time is determined using the equation (5) (S312).
[0043]
As described above, in this embodiment, the engine 1, torque converter T / C2, and motor generator M / G3 are controlled by calculating conditions for generating power with the highest efficiency, so that the
[0044]
Second Embodiment
In the first embodiment described above, the power generation efficiency, that is, the charging efficiency is improved by controlling the clutches (C1 and C2 clutches) of the automatic transmission A / T4 even when the shift lever is in the drive position. Such control is not required when the shift lever is in the neutral position. However, when the driver sets the shift lever to the drive position during stoppage charging, the clutch in the transmission is engaged, and the torque of the engine 1 is transmitted to the wheels via the transmission A / T4. Clutch control according to the driver's intention is required. That is, if the clutch of the transmission is immediately engaged during stop charging, the generated torque is transmitted to the wheels via the transmission, which is not preferable because the driver feels a light shock. In the present embodiment, processing in the case where the driver sets the shift lever to the driving position during the stop charging as described above will be described.
[0045]
FIG. 9 shows a processing flowchart of the present embodiment. First, the
[0046]
On the other hand, if NO in S405, that is, if the accelerator is not operated even though the shift lever is set to the drive position, the charge control is performed without engaging the clutch C1 (or C2) of the transmission A / T4. (S409), and the clutch C1 (or C2) is maintained in the released state (S410). Further, when the hill hold control is being performed, since the clutch C1 (or C2) is maintained in the released state, this control is continued to prevent the vehicle from moving (S411).
[0047]
As described above, in this embodiment, even if the driver sets the shift lever to the driving position during stop charging, the clutch of the automatic transmission A / T4 is released as long as the driver does not display the intention of traveling by operating the accelerator. Since the state of charge is maintained and the state of charge is continued, the
[0048]
<Third Embodiment>
FIG. 10 shows a configuration block diagram of the hybrid vehicle in the present embodiment. 1 differs from the configuration block diagram shown in FIG. 1 in that the arrangement positions of the torque converter T / C2 and the motor generator M / G3 are reversed, that is, the output shaft of the engine 1 is connected to the motor generator M / G3. The output shaft of / G3 is connected to the automatic transmission A / T4 via the torque converter T / C2.
[0049]
In such a configuration, when the SOC of the

[0051]
On the other hand, if NO in S504, that is, if the vehicle is running instead of being stopped, a limited charge amount corresponding to the vehicle speed is set (S507). If NO in S503, that is, if the shift lever is not in the forward / reverse position, the maximum required charge amount is set (S508). In this case, it is preferable to calculate the torque and the rotational speed at which the maximum efficiency is obtained as in the first embodiment.
[0052]
After the charge amount of the
[0053]
FIG. 12 shows the set charge amount when the shift lever is in the forward / reverse position. In the figure, the horizontal axis represents the vehicle speed, and the vertical axis represents the charge amount. When the vehicle is in a stopped state or can be regarded as a substantially stopped state at an extremely low vehicle speed, the charge amount is suppressed to the minimum required charge amount. As the vehicle speed increases, the charge amount according to the vehicle speed, specifically, as shown in the figure, the charge amount increases linearly with respect to the vehicle speed. To do. The process in the case where the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than a certain value is the same as the process in S507, that is, the process of charging with the maximum value of the required charge amount.
[0054]
As described above, in the present embodiment, when the charging is necessary during the stop, the lock-up of the torque converter T / C2 is turned off, so that the charging efficiency can be improved and the vehicle can be driven. For example, since the amount of charge is changed according to the running state (specifically, the vehicle speed), the
