本発明に係る照明器具等の昇降装置は、傾斜した被取付面の傾斜に沿って固定されてなる昇降装置本体の両端部に、当該昇降装置本体の上部から下部にわたって延長するコ字状の案内レールの脚部が当該昇降装置本体の軸芯に平行に傾斜して移動可能に取付けられ、かつ該コ字状の案内レールは前記昇降装置本体との間に掛けられたレール駆動ばねにて常時下方に附勢されるように昇降装置本体に支持され、該昇降装置本体の内部に前記一対のコ字状の案内レールに対応して配設された昇降用モータにて駆動される巻取ドラムに巻取・巻戻し自在に支持された吊下索により前記コ字状の案内レールの脚部の下端に吊設された昇降体に照明器具が取付けられ、前記昇降体は前記案内レールの脚部の下端に取付けられた複数対の滑車と該昇降体に取付けられた滑車を介して吊設され、前記昇降用モータの駆動により前記巻取ドラムから吊下索が送り出されることにより前記昇降体が前記案内レールの脚部を移動させながら傾斜して下降し、さらに前記案内レールの下端に配置された複数対の滑車のうち傾斜した面の下側に位置する滑車を介して前記昇降体がほぼ水平位置を保持された状態で下降するように構成されていることを特徴とするものである。
