本発明は、樹脂枠体付き透明板状体に関するものであり、よりくわしくは、軽量化を図ると同時に周縁部に容易に樹脂枠体と補強部材とを取り付けうるようにした樹脂枠体付き透明板状体に関するものである。

たとえば、自動車などの車両には、サンルーフを設けた仕様のものがある。図3はサンルーフ車の概略斜視図、図4はサンルーフなどの透明板状体の底面図、図5は図4のV−V矢視図である。上記サンルーフは、車両1の天井部分2に形成した開口部3に、開閉可能に透明板状体4を取り付けたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、樹脂製の透明板状体の少なくとも外面にハードコート層を有するフィルムが積層され、内面に枠状の補強部材が設けられ、周縁部に樹脂枠体が設けられてなる樹脂枠体付き透明板状体であって、前記透明板状体の外面側周縁部には凹部が形成され、該凹部に、樹脂枠体に形成された凸部が嵌入固定されるとともに、透明板状体外面の凹部とフィルムの縁部との間にできるフィルム未積層部が、樹脂枠体に形成されたフィン部で覆われており、透明板状体の内面側周縁部に凸部が形成され、該凸部に、前記補強部材に形成した凹部が当接固定されたことを特徴とする樹脂枠体付き透明板状体にかかるものである。
この場合において、補強部材に、透明板状体の熱膨張収縮方向へ延びる長孔が形成され、補強部材が、長孔を通して透明板状体へ嵌入される有頭ピンによって固定されても良い。

しかも、透明板状体に対する樹脂枠体の取り付け強度は、前記凸部と凹部との嵌合によって得られるので、透明板状体と樹脂枠体との間の段差を小さくし、ほぼ面一にして、外観を良くすることが可能となる。

ところで、透明板状体がガラス板でなく透明樹脂板にすると以下のような不都合が生ずる。すなわち、一般に透明樹脂製の板はガラス製に比べてたわみ剛性に弱い。特に、サンルーフに透明樹脂板を用いる場合、車の走行時の車外側の圧力が車内側の圧力に比べて小さくなるため、透明樹脂板が車外に向けて大きくたわむ傾向にある。そのため、透明樹脂板のたわみ剛性を上げるために、枠状の補強部材を透明樹脂板の内面に設けられる。この場合、透明樹脂の成形性を利用して、透明板状体の周縁部内面側に、凸部を形成するようにする。
そして、金属枠状の補強部材の対応する位置に凹部を形成し、透明板状体の凸部に補強部材の凹部を当接係止させて固定させるようにする。
