Description
(1) 熱可塑性材料からなる少なくとも3個以上の加工材をサンドイッチ状にして一体的に振動溶着する装置であって、振動手段によって微小横振動を第1の加工材に付与可能に支持した上治具手段と、前記第1の加工材の少なくとも両面に溶着される複数の第2の加工材を支持可能とした下治具手段とを含んでおり、昇降手段によって高さ方向に前記第2の加工材を移動させて前記第1の加工材に整列させ、スライド作動手段によって、横方向に前記第2の加工材を前記第1の加工材方向に移動させて第1の加工材に接触させるよう前記下治具手段を作動させうる手段を備えたことを特徴とする振動溶着装置。
(2) 左・右下治具ブロックの相対的な横方向移動を同期可能としたスライド安定手段を設けた前記(1)記載の振動溶着装置。
(3) 左・右下治具ブロックの相対的な横方向移動を高さ方向に安定させたスライド安定手段を設けた前記(1)記載の振動溶着装置。
(4) 左・右下治具ブロックの間隔を制御可能とした距離センサーを設けた前記(1)記載の振動溶着装置。
(5) 昇降フレームの高さ位置を規制する昇降制御杆とフレームストッパーを設けた前記(1)記載の振動溶着装置。
(6) 熱可塑性材料からなる少なくとも3個以上の加工材をサンドイッチ状にして一体的に振動溶着する溶着方法であって、次のシーケンシャルな各工程からなる振動溶着方法。
(A) 加工材装着工程
互いに離間されて配置された上治具手段と複数の下治具手段とに、第1の加工材と前記第1の加工材の両側面に溶着処理される少なくとも複数の第2の加工材とをそれぞれ装着する。
(B) 加工材当接工程
複数の下治具手段を上昇させると共に、互いに接近させて、前記第1の加工材と前記第2の加工材とを圧接させる。
(C) 振動溶着工程
上治具手段により、第1の加工材に微小横振動を付与して圧接された第2の加工材との間に摩擦熱を発生させて加工材を部分的に溶解させる。
(D) 加工材冷却工程
前記微小横振動を停止して自然冷却する。
1.熱可塑性材料からなる少なくとも3個の加工材をサンドイッチ状に一体的に振動溶着できる。
2.振動溶着された完成品の強度が大である。
3.複雑な形状の金型を必要とせず、高品質の完成品を得ることができる。
4.完成品は、金属部材等の異質の材料を含まないので分別回収する必要がなく廃棄できる。
5.製造工程がシーケンシャルに高速化できるので生産性が向上する。
固定フレーム110と昇降フレーム120とからなるフレーム手段100には後述する各種の手段が配設されている。
(1) 上治具手段700
図12に示すようにセンターコンソールCCを構成する中央ボックスCBと左右パネルLP、RPとを振動溶着加工する際に、中央ボックスCBを担持する上治具手段700は図1に示すように、固定フレーム110に連設される上治具プレート710の下面に対状に2個の上治具受けブロック720を垂設しており、その下部外側に中央ボックスCBに当接する第1の緩衝材721をライニングしており、中央ボックスCB内に挿入されて吸着手段400のボックス用バキュームカップ410で中央ボックスCBを保持できるものである。
下治具手段500に対向状に配設される左・右下治具受けブロック510、520は、昇降フレーム120上に横方向に往復移動可能に搭載されており、後述されるスライド作動手段300によって相対的に直線状に接近させ、又は離間させる動作を行わせるものであって、センターコンソールCCを構成する左・右パネルLP、RPを支持する対向面に第2、第3の緩衝材511、512を付設しており、吸着手段400の左・右パネル用バキュームカップ420、430によって、左・右パネルLP、RPを対向状に保持しうるものである。
前記昇降フレーム120は油圧シリンダ210のピストン杆211に連結され、溶着処理の際に下治具手段500を昇降動作させるよう構成されており、昇降フレーム120に連設した昇降制御杆121が固定フレーム110上のフレームストッパー122に関与することにより昇降フレーム120の高さ位置を規制して安全性を向上させるように構成している。
C.P.Uを構成する制御手段800は、図2の如くに結線されており、操作指令部810からの命令に応じて各手段をタイムリに動作、停止させることができるものである。
図12に示すセンターコンソールCCを構成する3個の加工材は、いずれもABS樹脂もしくはPP材料等の熱可塑性材料で構成されている。
以下、前記の振動溶着装置1000による溶着方法を図3〜11に基づいて各工程毎に説明する。
図3のように昇降フレーム120が下降位置にあり、左・右下治具受けブロック510、520は離間されて配置されると共に、その上方に上治具受けブロック720が同様に離間されて配置されてスタンバイ状態となる。
図4のように上治具受けブロック720に加工材である中央ボックスCBを嵌装すると共に、左・右下治具受けブロック510、520に左・右パネルLP、RPを挿入し、吸着手段400を始動させてボックス用バキュームカップ410と左・右パネル用バキュームカップ420、430によって、中央ボックスCBと左・右パネルLP、RPを、それぞれ上治具受けブロック720と左・右下治具受けブロック510、520に吸着させて安定的に保持する。
図5の矢印のように油圧シリンダ210を始動させ、昇降フレーム120と共に、下治具手段500を上昇させて、左・右パネルLP、RPを中央ボックスCBに対向して整合する位置に到達させる。
図6のように第1、第2のエアシリンダ310、320のピストンロッド311、321を矢印のように作動させ、左・右治具受けブロック510、520を互いに接近する方向に移動させ、中央ボックスCBを左・右パネルLP、RPでサンドイッチ状に挟むようにして溶着リブLIBが圧接される状態とする。
図7のように上治具プレート710に連結されたバイブレータ600から紙面に直交する方向の微小横振動を上治具受けブロック720に供与させ、左・右パネルLP、RPの溶着リブLIBと中央ボックスCBとの間に摩擦熱を発生させ、溶着リブLIBの先端を溶解させて、左・右パネルLP、RPと中央ボックスCBとを溶着させる。
前記(5)の工程の状態で、距離センサー900の信号で制御手段によりバイブレータ600を停止させ、短秒間(約3秒程度)、その位置を保持して冷却、硬化に待機する。
図8の矢印のように保持プレートを921下降させて中央ボックスCBの下面から隔離させる。
図9のように吸着手段400のボックス用バキュームカップ410の動作を停止させると共に、昇降フレーム120を下降させて中央ボックスから上治具受けブロック720を解放する。
図10のように吸着手段400の左・右パネル用バキュームカップ420、430の作動を停止すると共に、第1、第2のエアシリンダ310、320を矢印方向に逆進させて、左・右下治具受けブロック510、520から左・右パネルLP、RPを解放する。
図11のように以上の工程によって形成されたセンターコンソールCCを振動溶着装置1000から取り出して全ての工程を終了する。

Claims (5)
- 熱可塑性材料からなる少なくとも3個以上の加工材をサンドイッチ状にして一体的に振動溶着する装置であって、上側の固定フレーム110に連設し、振動発生手段600から微小振動を供与される上治具プレート710の下面に対状に複数の上治具受けブロック720、720を垂設し、該上治具受けブロック720、720に第1の加工材を保持するようになし、振動発生手段600によって微小横振動を第1の加工材に付与可能に支持した上治具手段700と、油圧作動手段200等の昇降手段によって昇降される昇降フレーム120上に、対向面に前記第1の加工材の少なくとも両面に溶着される複数の第2の加工材を保持する左・右下治具受けブロック510、520を、昇降フレーム120に横方向移動自在に設けた基枠512、522を介して対向状に配設し、該基枠512、522の移動を介して該左・右下治具受けブロック510、520を横方向に往復移動可能となすと共に、これら左・右下治具受けブロック510、520を、前記昇降フレーム120上に配設した第1、第2のエアシリンダ310、320等からなるスライド作動手段300によって相対的に接近又は離間させるようになし、更に前記油圧作動手段200等の昇降手段によって昇降フレーム120を昇降させ、高さ方向に前記第2の加工材を移動させて前記第1の加工材に整列させると共に、前記スライド作動手段300によって前記基枠512、522を移動させ、前記第2の加工材を横方向に移動させて前記第1の加工材に接触させるようになした下治具手段500とを備えたことを特徴とする振動溶着装置。
- 左・右下治具受けブロック510、520を支持する基枠512、522に、ピニオン530で連動される一組のラック514、524を連設すると共に、該基枠512、522の下面に突設したスライダー515、525を昇降フレーム120上のレール123、123に係合させ、左・右下治具受けブロック510、520の相対的な横方向移動を同期可能としたスライド安定手段560を設けた請求項1記載の振動溶着装置。

- 昇降フレーム120に昇降制御杆121を立設する一方、上側の固定フレーム110にフレームストッパー122を垂設し、昇降フレーム120の高さ位置を規制するようになした請求項1記載の振動溶着装置。
- 熱可塑性材料からなる少なくとも3個以上の加工材をサンドイッチ状にして一体的に振動溶着する溶着方法であって、次のシーケンシャルな各工程からなる振動溶着方法。
(A)加工材装着工程
互いに離間されて配置された上治具手段と複数の下治具手段とに、第1の加工材と前記第1の加工材の両側面に溶着処理される少なくとも複数の第2の加工材とをそれぞれ装着する。
(B)加工材当接工程
複数の下治具手段を上昇させると共に、互いに接近させて、前記第1の加工材と前記第2の加工材とを圧接させる。
(C)振動溶着工程
上治具手段により、第1の加工材に微小横振動を付与して圧接された第2の加工材との間に摩擦熱を発生させて加工材を部分的に溶解させる。
(D)加工材冷却工程
前記微小横振動を停止して自然冷却する。
