Claims (10)
- データ記憶装置のための焦点検出放出器であって、
第1の電子ビーム部分を選択的に生成するように構成された第1の放出区域と、
第2の電子ビーム部分を選択的に生成するように構成された第2の放出区域とを含み、
前記第1の電子ビーム部分は記憶媒体上に第1のスポットを生成し、前記第2の電子ビーム部分は前記記憶媒体上に第2のスポットを生成し、前記第2のスポットに対する前記第1のスポットの位置は前記第1、第2の電子ビーム部分の集束状態を指示し、前記第1、第2のスポットの少なくとも一方の位置は、前記第1、第2の電子ビーム部分の少なくとも一方の集束状態を指示することを特徴とする、焦点検出放出器。 - 前記第1のスポットの前記位置は前記第2のスポットの前記位置と概ね一致すると、前記第1、第2の電子ビーム部分の焦点が合うようになっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の焦点検出放出器。
- 前記第1、第2のスポットのいずれかの前記位置の横方向へのシフトは、対応する前記電子ビーム部分の焦点が外れていることを指示する請求項1に記載の焦点検出放出器。
- 電子データ記憶装置であって、記憶媒体と、電子ビームを放出するように構成された少なくとも1つの電子放出器とを備え、前記放出器は、第1の電子ビーム部分を選択的に生成するように構成された第1の放出区域と、第2の電子ビーム部分を選択的に生成するように構成された第2の放出区域とを含み、前記第1の電子ビーム部分は前記記憶媒体上に第1のスポットを生成し、前記第2の電子ビーム部分は前記記憶媒体上に第2のスポットを生成し、前記第2のスポットに対する前記第1のスポットの位置は前記第1、第2の電子ビーム部分の集束状態を指示し、前記第1、第2のスポットの少なくとも一方の位置は前記第1、第2の電子ビーム部分の少なくとも一方の集束状態を指示することを特徴とする、電子データ記憶装置。
- 前記放出器は、前記第1の電子ビーム部分の生成と前記第2の電子ビーム部分の生成の間で前記電子ビームを変調するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の電子データ記憶装置。
- 電子データ記憶装置の電子ビームの焦点を調整する方法であって、
電子放出器の第1の電子放出区域から第1の電子ビーム部分を放出して記憶媒体上に第1のスポットを生成するステップと、
前記電子放出器の第2の電子放出区域から第2の電子ビーム部分を放出して前記記憶媒体上に第2のスポットを生成するステップと、
前記第2のスポットの位置に対する前記第1のスポットの位置を検出することにより集束状態を決定するステップと、
を含む電子ビームの焦点調整方法。 - 前記第2のスポットの前記位置に対する前記第1のスポットの前記位置に基づいて集束信号を生成することをさらに含む請求項6に記載の電子ビームの焦点調整方法。
- 前記集束信号に基づいて前記電子ビームの前記焦点を調整することをさらに含む請求項7に記載の電子ビームの焦点調整方法。
- 電子記憶装置の電子ビームの焦点を決定する方法であって、
電子放出器の第1の電子放出区域から第1の電子ビーム部分を放出するステップと、
前記電子放出器の第2の電子放出区域から第2の電子ビーム部分を放出するステップと、
全電子ビーム流を一定に保持しながら、前記第1の電子ビーム部分および前記第2の電子ビーム部分の大きさに変調をかけて、前記第1の電子ビーム部分および前記第2の電子ビーム部分の集束状態に基づいて集束信号を生成するステップと
を含む電子ビームの焦点決定方法。 - データを格納するための格納手段と、
第1の電子ビーム部分を生成して前記格納手段上に第1のスポットを形成する、第1の電子ビーム生成手段と、
第2の電子ビーム部分を生成して前記格納手段上に第2のスポットを形成する、第2の電子ビーム生成手段と、
前記第2のポットの位置に対する前記第1のスポットの位置を決定することにより、前記第1、第2の電子ビーム部分の少なくとも一方の集束状態を決定する手段と
を含む電子データ記憶装置。
