本発明は、荷物発送の依頼および受付けの際に必要となる伝票への必要事項の記入などの伝票作成作業について効率化を図れる配送センタ端末、荷物発送伝票発行システム及び荷物発送伝票発行方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、宅配便で荷物を発送する際には、依頼者が荷物を持って宅配便業者の窓口へ行き、そこで伝票を受け取り、この伝票へ必要事項を記入していた。宅配便業者では前記荷物が配送先へ配達されるまでその荷物を前記記入された伝票をもとに管理し、前記荷物が前記配送先へ安全かつ誤りなく配達されるようにしている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
宅配便の依頼者から依頼される荷物の受付けや発送は以上のように行われていたので、自宅の住所、電話番号、氏名などほとんど変わることのない事項を依頼者は荷物の発送を依頼するたびに毎回記入する必要があり、一度に複数の荷物を送るときにも各荷物毎に同じ事項の記入をしなければならず、また、依頼者が必要事項を記入した伝票に対し宅配便を受付ける窓口担当者は、配達する時間帯や料金などを記入する必要があったりして、荷物の受付けに際しての伝票作成には人手が介在することになり、時間を要し、混雑している場合など依頼者から依頼される荷物の受付け業務を効率よく行うのが容易でないという課題があった。

本発明は、以上のような問題点を解決するためになされたものであり、本発明の目的は、荷物の受付けに際して必要な伝票作成について効率化を図れる配送センタ端末、荷物発送伝票発行システム及び荷物発送伝票発行方法を提供することにある。

本発明に係る配送センタ端末は、利用者情報を利用者端末から受信する第１の受信手段と、前記利用者情報に基づき営業所端末を検索する検索手段と、前記検索手段において検索された前記営業所端末の情報を前記利用者端末に送信する第１の送信手段と、前記利用者端末から前記営業所端末の情報に対する応答情報を受信する第２の受信手段と、前記応答情報に基づき、前記検索手段において検索された前記営業所端末に前記利用者情報を送信する第２の送信手段と、前記応答情報に基づき、前記第２の送信手段による前記利用者情報の送信を保留する保留手段とを備えたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の一形態について説明する。
この実施の形態の荷物発送伝票発行システムは、宅配便で荷物を発送する際に必要となる伝票の作成について利便性を提供するものであり、図１はこの実施の一形態の荷物発送伝票発行システムの構成を示すブロック図である。
この荷物発送伝票発行システムは、宅配便による荷物の発送を依頼する依頼者側の利用者端末１０と、宅配便の配送センタに備えられている配送センタ端末２０と、前記依頼者が依頼する荷物の配送の受付けを行う営業所に備えられている営業所端末３０と、前記利用者端末１０と前記配送センタ端末２０と前記営業所端末３０とを相互接続するインターネットなどのネットワーク１００を備えた構成である。

利用者端末１０はパーソナルコンピュータなどの情報処理装置であり、配送センタ端末２０がネットワーク１００上に提供している伝票発行システムにアクセスし、前記伝票発行システムの各種画面を表示する機能を備えている。また、利用者端末１０は、伝票発行に必要となる伝票発行情報と利用者が荷物を持参する営業所を特定する営業所情報、宅配便を利用する日時情報をネットワーク１００を介して配送センタ端末２０に送信する機能を有している。伝票発行情報としては、利用者の郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号、届け先の住所、氏名、電話番号、配達時間帯がある。

制御部２１は、荷物の配達サービスを依頼する利用者についての郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号などの利用者情報をデータベース２２へ登録する利用者情報登録手段２５と、前記配達サービスの依頼に際しての伝票発行に必要な伝票発行情報の入力を前記利用者へ促し取得する伝票発行情報取得手段２６と、前記利用者の利用者情報の住所をもとにデータベース２２から検索した、前記利用者の住所に対する最寄の営業所についての営業所情報を前記利用者へ提供する受付営業所検索提示手段２７と、前記利用者情報登録手段２５により登録されている前記利用者についての利用者情報を含む前記伝票発行情報取得手段２６で取得した伝票発行情報を前記検索された前記営業所の営業所端末３０へ送信し、前記営業所端末３０において前記利用者情報を含む前記伝票発行情報による伝票を発行する伝票発行情報送信手段２８などを備えている。

次に、動作について説明する。
先ず、利用者は利用者端末１０を用いて、ネットワーク１００経由で配送センタ端末２０に接続し、発送に必要となる伝票に記入する伝票発行情報、利用する営業所名などの営業所情報、前記営業所について訪問する予定の日時情報を送る。配送センタ端末２０は前記各情報を受け取ると、前記営業所情報により指定された営業所の営業所端末３０へ前記利用者が荷物の発送を依頼する際に必要な伝票発行情報を送る。営業所端末３０では、配送センタ端末２０から送られてきた前記伝票発行情報を基に発送伝票を印刷する。一方、利用者は前記指定した日時に前記営業所端末３０の営業所に荷物を持参する。そして、前記利用者は前記営業所で必要事項が印刷済みの発送伝票を受け取り、荷物に貼付し代金の精算を行う。

図７は、以上説明した宅配便発送伝票発行システムの動作を示すフローチャートであり、このフローチャートに従ってさらに説明すると、先ず、利用者は自宅の利用者端末２０を介して、宅配業者（宅配業者の配送センタ）がインターネット上に開設している伝票発行についてのホームページにアクセスする（ステップＳ１）。これに応答して、配送センタ端末２０は入力画面を利用者端末２０に送信する（ステップＳ２）。利用者端末２０には最初、図３に示すような初期画面が表示される。前記利用者は初めて利用する際のみユーザ登録ボタン２を選択する。すると図４に示すような画面が表示される。利用者はその画面に従って、自己のユーザ名、パスワードと郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号などの利用者情報を入力する。これらの情報は配送センタ端末２０の利用者情報登録手段２５によりデータベース２２に登録される（ステップＳ３）。以後、ユーザ名、パスワードをもとに前記データベース２２からこれら郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号などの利用者情報を容易に引き出せるようになっている。

図３の初期画面において前記利用者が伝票発行ボタン１を選択すると図５に示す画面が配送センタ端末２０の伝票発行情報取得手段２６により利用者端末１０へ表示される。図５の利用者（依頼者）に関する情報は、前記ユーザ登録により前記利用者により入力されたユーザ名、パスワードをもとに既に入力されている。前記利用者はユーザ端末１０に表示された図５の画面上で荷物の発送先の郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号、配達時間帯などの情報を入力し（ステップＳ４）、確認ボタン３を選択する。利用者端末１０は、確認ボタン３の選択により、図５で示す画面に入力された情報を配送センタ端末２０に送信する（ステップＳ５）。

配送センタ端末２０では、前記利用者端末１０から送られてきた前記情報に漏れがないかを確認し、正しければ、配送センタ端末２０の受付営業所検索提示手段２７が前記利用者の住所から最寄の営業所を検索し、その営業所名が入力された図６で示す画面を利用者端末１０に送信する（ステップＳ６）。利用者端末１０では、配送センタ端末２０から送られてきた図６に示す画面を表示する。なお、この場合、最寄の営業所が複数検索される場合には、その複数の営業所が入力された画面を利用者端末１０へ送信し、利用者がその中から適当と考えられる営業所を指定するようにしてもよい。
前記利用者は、図６に示す前記入力済みの営業所名を確認し、さらにその営業所を訪問する予定時間帯の訪問日時（利用日時）を入力し、完了ボタン４を選択する（ステップＳ７）。利用者端末１０は、前記営業所名と前記訪問する時間帯の訪問日時を配送センタ端末２０へ送信する（ステップＳ８）。

配送センタ端末２０では、利用者端末１０から前記営業所名と前記訪問する時間帯の訪問日時が送信されてくると、先に受け取った伝票発行に必要となる送付先の郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号、配達時間帯などの情報や、利用者の郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号などの伝票発行情報を、配送センタ端末２０の伝票発行情報送信手段２８が指定された営業所の営業所端末３０へ送信する（ステップＳ９）。営業所端末３０では、配送センタ端末２０から前記伝票発行情報を受信すると、あらかじめ決められている伝票に必要な事項を印刷する（ステップＳ１０）。この結果、前記必要な事項が印刷された伝票は、前記利用者により指定された訪問日時以前に指定された営業所の営業所端末３０で印刷され発行されており、前記利用者は依頼する荷物を前記営業所へ持ち込んだときには、すでにその荷物について必要事項が記入された伝票は用意されている。

なお、以上の説明では、利用者が発送を依頼しようとする荷物を持って宅配便を受付ける営業所に出向くとしたが、宅配業者が記入済み伝票を持参し、利用者宅に集荷に訪問することもあり得る。

また、利用者の訪問する営業所が未定である場合、つまり利用者が外出先の最寄の営業所から荷物の発送を依頼するような場合には、営業所名とその営業所を訪問する時間帯の訪問日時は未定であることが多いため、前記利用者は営業所名とその営業所を訪問する時間帯の訪問日時について未定とし、完了ボタン４を選択する。利用者端末１０は、前記営業所名と前記訪問する時間帯の訪問日時が未定であることを配送センタ端末２０へ送信する。この場合、配送センタ端末２０では、営業所名とその営業所を訪問する時間帯の訪問日時について未定であることから、先に受け取った伝票発行に必要となる送付先の郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号、配達時間帯などの情報や、前記利用者の郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号などの伝票発行情報の営業所端末３０への送信を、送信先の営業所端末未定として保留した状態にする。

そして、利用者が外出先の最寄の営業所から前記荷物の宅配を依頼する場合には、その営業所に備えてある営業所端末から前記利用者のユーザ名またはパスワードを入力し、入力した前記利用者のユーザ名またはパスワードを前記営業所端末から配送センタ端末２０へ送信する。配送センタ端末２０では、送られてきた前記利用者のユーザ名またはパスワードをもとに、前記保留した状態にある伝票発行に必要となる送付先の郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号、配達時間帯などの情報や、前記利用者の郵便番号、住所、氏名、電話番号などの伝票発行情報を選択し、前記選択した伝票発行情報を前記営業所端末へ送信する。
前記営業所端末では、配送センタ端末２０から送られてきた前記伝票発行情報を受信すると、あらかじめ決められている伝票に必要な事項を印刷する。

前記利用者は前記必要な事項が印刷された伝票を受け取り、発送を依頼する前記荷物へ前記伝票を貼付して代金の精算を行い、宅配便による前記荷物についての発送依頼が完了する。

以上のように、本実施の形態によれば、自宅の住所、氏名、電話番号など宅配を依頼する側で記入する事項は、一度登録すれば、以後、転居など何らかの特別な理由がない限り変更することがほとんどないことから、宅配を扱っている受付窓口で行なっていた手書きによる伝票への必要事項の記入作業を省略でき、特に荷物が複数あったり、利用回数が多い場合には、受付けが完了するまでの時間を短縮でき利用者の待ち時間も少なくなるなど、依頼者から依頼される荷物の受付け業務の伝票作成について効率化を図れる荷物発送伝票発行システムを提供できる効果がある。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、荷物の受付けに際して必要な伝票作成について、人手による必要事項の記入作業を省くことが出来、発送依頼の受付けが完了するまでの時間を短縮でき利用者の待ち時間も少なくなるなど、依頼者から依頼される荷物の受付け業務の伝票作成について効率化を図れる効果がある。
